Welcome to Mystic Academy

(Elektra's POV)

Well here I am. I'm at Mystic Academy. I can't believe this is happening. I honestly thought I wouldn't be here but here I am standing at the front gate.

Oh I should probably introduce myself before I go on. My name is Elektra Arrowwood. I am nineteen years old and I am a Lightning Dragon.

Up until the age of twelve, I had a pretty normal life. I went to school. I had friends. Everything was perfect until the day my family told us we had to leave because of the battles going on between the humans and mythical creatures. I didn't even get to say goodbye to anyone, not even my best friend. We left our life behind but it still didn't matter if we left or not because not long after my parents were killed right in front of my eyes and I was left on my own.

I had no one and I was forced to fight for my own life at a young age. I went into hiding and pretended to be human to blend in. I was young but that didn't stop me from taking care of myself the best that I could. I worked multiple jobs at a young age and was able to take care of myself. I homeschooled myself and became really smart and trained everyday.

That was until last week when I received a letter at my hideout. I grew nervous that someone had discovered me but when I opened the letter, it was an invitation to Mystic Academy. I never heard of it, but I read the letter really carefully. The invitation stated that if I go to Mystic Academy, I would live and be surrounded by other mythical creatures like me. I would go to classes, train and even go on some missions with teams that I would join if I go. Since I had no real life by being by myself, I decided to go.

So that's why I'm here now at the front gate of the academy. To start a new life. I rang the buzzer on the side of the gate and a woman came on the intercom. "Yes how may I help you?" she asked. "Um yes I'm Elektra Arrowwood an-". I was trying to say before the lady interrupted me. "Ah come right in the Dean is expecting you".

The gate opened and I walked through the gate with my luggage up to the front door of the gigantic mansion school looking place. I was about to knock when the door suddenly opened revealing a tall woman in a white dress. "Ms. Arrowwood, I am Ms. Rivers. Please follow me to the Dean's office." she said. I nodded and she let me in and we walked through the big halls of the building until we stopped at a big door.

Ms. Rivers knocked on the door and a man's voice was heard on the other side of the door. "Come in". Ms. Rivers opened the door and stuck her head in. "Dean Winchester, Ms. Arrowwood is here." she said. (No his name is not actually Dean like in Supernatural. That's only his status as the Dean of the school.) "Send her in." he said and Ms. Rivers opened the door wider and I entered into the room with my luggage.

Ms. Rivers closed the door behind me and I looked at the man who looked to be in his late forties to early fifties sitting at his desk working on something. The dean looked up at me and smiled. "Welcome to Mystic Academy Ms. Arrowwood. Please have a seat." he said as he pointed to the chair that was across from his desk. I quietly set my luggage down and sat in the chair. "I am so glad you are here. You would make a great addition. We are so happy that you decided to come. Now I do need you to take this little test so I can determine what classes you will be taking." he said as he handed me a packet and a pencil.

I thought he was joking at first but then I saw he had a serious face. I looked down at the packet and one by one I answered the questions being asked.The test was originally supposed to take about forty-five to a half an hour to finish, but I finished it in about ten minutes. I handed the packet and pencil back to him and he looked at me in shock. "All done already?" he asked and I just nodded.

Then he started to check the packet. It didn't take him long for him to lift up his head and smile at me. "Ms. Arrowwood, I am very impressed. You got a perfect score on this test. There have only been two people who has had a perfect score on this test and that would be me and another student in your class. Due to your score, you will be taking the top classes." he said to me. I gave him a slight smile and nodded my as a response.

He went on his computer and started to type for a little bit and then printed out something. He handed me the paper that he printed out and I looked to see it was my schedule. My classes actually didn't look that bad. Dean Winchester then stood up and walked around his desk and I stood up from my chair. He held out his hand and I held his hand and shook it. "We officially welcome you to Mystic Academy. Please follow me and we will introduce you to the students." he said as he released my hand. I nodded and followed him out the door with my bags.

"Ms.Rivers please make an announcement for all the students to meet in the auditorium for an assembly." he said as we walked passed her and she replied "yes sir". We walked down a couple of halls until we reached a pair of double doors and on top it read Auditorium. He opened the door and I entered first to see the room filled with people. I took a big gulp and walked with the dean down one of the aisles. I heard whispering all around saying 'Who is she?', 'Is she a new student?', Oo fresh meat.', or even 'Damn she's pretty'.

I avoided eye contact with them and just kept following the Dean up the stage and stood next to him at the podium. Everybody quiet down immediately when he was about to speak. "Good Afternoon students. Today I have called you down to introduce you to a new student that will be joining us. Ms. Arrowwood will you please introduce yourself and state what creature you are." he said and moved to the side so I could stand at the podium.

I took a deep breath and looked out into the audience and said with confidence "Hello everyone, my name Elektra Arrowwood. I'm nineteen years old and I'm a lightning dragon". I moved back to where I was before and Dean Winchester stood back at the podium. "Very interesting right students. Ms. Arrowwood would you please show us your dragon form?" he asked and I turned to him and just nodded. It's not like I had a choice.

I walked to the middle of the stage and closed my eyes. If you were in the audience at this moment, you would see my eyes open up and they were a light shade of blue. On the side of my eyes would be little silver lightning bolts. Then you see me stomp my foot and my body starts to spin around and in a couple seconds, there I was a big white and silver scaled dragon.

Then I closed my eyes again and they went back to normal and after a couple of seconds, I was back in my human form. There was a small applause and I again went back to standing next to Dean Winchester. "Wow that was amazing. You would not believe how many dragons I have seen that have a hard time transforming , but you did it with no problem. Very impressive. Now Ms. Arrowwood it is time for you to meet your new team. So will the team of NAD please come on stage to meet your new member and from this point on your name will be team NEAD."

The first person to come to the stage was a girl around my age. She had dark red eyes, black hair, light tanned skin,and she had somewhat of resting bitch face. Except she didn't walk up to the stage, she flew with her black wings. They retracted into her body and she walked up to me and held out her hand. A smile then appeared on her face. I shook her hand and she said "Hi my name is Alexa Gore and I'm a half demon breed. Welcome to the team. I can already tell that we are gonna be best friends". I chuckled a little and nodded.

The next person that came up was a boy about the same age as well. He had light green eyes, auburn hair and fairly light skin. He walked up to the stage and held out his hand. I shook his hand and he said "Hi my name is Damon Waters and I'm Water Sprite". I nodded and then he wraps his arm around my shoulder and he turns me around and says quietly " Let me just say, you are hot". I laughed a little and then I hear a person's voice calling me. "Elektra"

I unwrap Damon's arm from my shoulder and turn around to see who the voice came from. I turned to see a boy I hadn't seen in over seven years. I went into shock and lightly said "Neo?"
