Suffering

Serene's POV:

Esh looked ravishing in his party wear. This is my first time seeing him wearing the shirt which exposes his muscles outline in this life ,emphasizing his strong arms and biceps whereas his usual outfit stands for his sexy adams apple making people want to kiss it. But my gaze turned to his face which has a gentle smile. He was accepting a drink from my cousin which poured cold water on my thoughts.

It hurts. It hurts so much to see the person I love can't be mine. Even after all these ,I have gone through I am not able to get over him. How much more does I have to endure. Suddenly, a hand grabbed my wrist flicking fingers on it pulling me out of my thoughts.

I noticed jai looking at me with concern.Seems like he too noticed their interaction.I passed a grateful smile.I am grateful he is there for me.not just now , Even in my past life .I almost made a fool out of myself just now .we made our way to their group.

Eshwar's POV:

After waiting for what seemed like ages I saw her standing at the entrance .Seeing me looking at the entrance the other two noticed that Serene and Jai has arrived.

Jai arrived in a casual hoodie giving an youthful aura. Serene was wearing a knee length frock in green and pastel colours with a ponytail on looking like a student .

"Aw!! what's with you dressing like coming for a picnic rather than a bar? How are you supposed to drink and dance for my party?" Astrid exclaimed before they can occupy their seats ,more like an effort to turn her attention to himself from jai.

"did you wait for long? we are a bit late as we still have something to deal with before coming here"said serene,completely not sparing a glance at the other two.

Astrid's face turned sour hearing that jai is sticking to his sister. Jai smirked at that.
