Trip or Trap
On the day of the trip, Rin and Keitarou have to wait for the other two to arrive at Rin’s house since the other couple decide to go out to buy something that Aria forget. Rin leave out sigh and says, “Aria-chan really excited for the trip until she forget to make preparation for her emergency medicine.”
“You always go to trip with both of them?” ask Keitarou.
Rin tries to remember anything about trip where three of them are there and she replies, “I think this is the first time we go for trip after long time which was we were in grade school. We begin busy with our works but she always travel with her male friends since she doesn’t really have female one.”
“I see… she’s really lucky to have wonderful people around her.” Say Keitarou. His phone suddenly ring to tell them that the car already there.

Both of them go to the Basement Park where the two already arrive and waiting for them. Keitarou really surprise when see the car since it bigger than he imagine; it’s more like a car for going to camping in the middle of nowhere rather than go to relaxing beach. Aria swiftly gets off from the car and says when see two clearly surprise people, “Put the blame on my oyaji. He keep insist Ryo-chan to use this car.”
“I get the same reaction too when I first saw this. Her dad says that he’s okay if we return this with any scratch rather than anything on her.” Say Ryouhei as he joins them.
They quickly load their bags into the car since they want to arrive at the destination while the sun still out. Aria quickly put on song that make Ryouhei asks, “Why it always has to be Hiro-kun’s songs?”
Aria bluntly says, “Because I love his songs and I need to stay awake along the way.”
“Just let her be or she will sleep soundly beside you that only distract you.” Say Rin. She’s just lean at Keitarou’s shoulder to rest since she has stay up late the night before.
The journey to their destination fills with laughter and small argument. The one that really excited for the trip is Aria, “I can’t wait to reach there! I really miss that villa!”
“Why you really excited?” ask Keitarou.
Aria happily says, “I used to stay there during summer when I was 8 and many things in that house really have memories me as a brat there. What make it better; the house is just beside a beautiful beach where no one dares to get near.”
Before Keitarou could imagine anything gruesome there, Rin explains, “It’s a private property.”

The car passes by a big gate and Ryouhei stops the car just in front a huge villa. The villa has simple building that has two stories with a big veranda that facing the beach. The front entrance has small fountain that surrounding by flower beds. It seem like the exterior make them feel relaxed even before they walk into the villa.
Aria searches for the key and happily takes it out from her handbag. She really want to become the one who unlock the door but Ryouhei acts fast by snatch the keys from Aria’s hand. He spins in his hand while says, “I will check-in first to make sure everything safe.”
“Make sure you don’t get lost inside there~!” Aria whine with pout since she really want get into the house first but when think if there are dust around, only trouble.
The other three just unload their bag first and Aria says, “Oh! I forget to tell both of you that both of you have to share one room. My siblings already warn me not to touch their rooms since they will come here soon and we only have one guest room.”
“Will you be okay to stay in one room with Ryouhei? You know he always has light on when sleep.” Say Keitarou when remember his best friend’s habit. Rin adds, “Yeah and you can’t sleep without everything’s off.”
Aria happily says, “Of course I will be okay. You guys should enjoy your time together since it really hard to do that when we return back. We can go to beach and anywhere without afraid of anyone will disturb us.”
“You’re such a happy-go-lucky person in this situation.” Rin make that blunt comment but that girl no longer there. Aria already rushes in as soon she notices Ryouhei appears which mean everything’s okay.
Ryouhei help them to bring the bag inside while says, “She always hyper when come to things like this. She even goes for trips with those guys behind my back.”
“Hey! I only do that when we still in college and now, we mostly connect trough mail. You’re jealous with them when we will always be friends.” Aria says that through the door before disappear once again. She wants to check her room as she hasn’t been there for quite long time.
Ryouhei chuckles, “It seems she really looking forward for this trip. Let’s get in to get some rest.”
“Yeah, I’m really tired right now!” says Rin. She became the second one who leaves the guys outside the house.
Keitarou ask to his best friend, “So, which room I will stay with Rin-chan?”
“The room will be at second floor, just beside Aria-chan’s room. For today, we will just rest and enjoy our time.” Say Ryouhei.
While they walk into the house, Aria suddenly appear in front of them when the boys almost at stairs, “Ah! I want to take some drink! I’m thirsty~!” it seem she decide to jump on few steps at one time that almost make the boys lost their life in fear of she may lost footing there.
“Even if you’re really that thirsty, just try to walk normally or you will only get into accident.” Ryouhei advice since he really worries about that girl’s clumsiness.
Aria pout as she think she get scold by him, “Yes, sir~! I will be careful… tomorrow!” she jumps off from the stairs before run to kitchen.
“Really like a kid.” Comment Keitarou.
Ryouhei agrees with him, “Yeah and she needs a lot of care to make sure she’s okay.”

Aria opens the refrigerator and smile to see everything’s there. It seem her parent already ask favours from the housekeeper that they usually hired to stock up for that short but sudden trip. Her big smile appears on her face when she notices her favourite strawberry milk in that cold container.
“This look be really tasty~!” Aria sings happily since that drink is her favourite and same goes to her lover, and that sweet drink has been target of their childish arguments for ages. She says while reaching the carton, “Best thing should be enjoy alone~!”
Another hand reaches it first and whisper at her ear, “Are you thinking to enjoy this alone?”
Aria surprise with that sudden action and make excuse when realize it is Ryouhei, “I thought you would be want to rest before unpack since you drive here for us. It not a short one and you don’t want to change driver.”
“I’m also same with you; I need some drink.” Ryouhei say, innocently even she knows that too well; it is the opposite. Both of them begin fight over that carton even there are more inside the refrigerator.
Rin annoy with the noise and go there to ask, “Just what the heck you’re doing?”
“Rin-chan, Ryo-chan is bullying me! He’s taking my ichigo milk!” Aria whines with her fake tears as she runs to her best friend and hug her.
Rin pat her childhood friend’s head while scolding to Ryouhei, “You really like to bully her, right?”
“Hey! It’s not my fault. There is another one there.” Ryouhei points to the refrigerator.
“Yeah but it should you who get that.” Rin clearly take on Aria’s side and doesn’t give any chance to him.
Ryouhei could see Aria’s smirk while hiding behind Rin and says, “She’s smirking just now!”
Keitarou joins them and says, “I can never imagine Ryouhei would bully a girl, specifically his lover. I imagine he will treat her like a princess.”
“He would never treat me as a princess because I’m just a stupid girl.” Aria continues whine continue. The place begin fill with small argument before it change to laughter since Aria could hold it on any longer. Soon, everyone just surrender to that and they grab their desired drinks before take their rest.

They go to beach at evening; Aria just decides to relax at shore while others decide to go for a swim. After a while, Ryouhei walk towards her and says, “You should join the fun.”
“You know how awful I am when come to swimming matter, right?” Aria close the book that she’s had been reading to kill the time.
Ryouhei offer his hand to her while saying, “I will show to you how to enjoy the beach even you don’t know how to swim.”
She doesn’t fight him when him to pull her and join the other two who already enjoying themselves in the water. Rin says when see her childhood friend getting closer to the water, “You finally joining us!”
“Yeah…” Aria gives timid reply since she still worries if she has to swim.
Four of them begin play throwing ball to each other while try to push some of them into the water. Rin suddenly become pale while they are playing and the first one realize that is Ryouhei. He asks, “Hey! Are you okay?”
“I t-think I’m okay…” Rin reply as her face slightly twitches in pain. She could something poking on her foot but she can’t pinpoint what it is.
Aria realizes something and shouts, “Rin-chan, you’re stepping on broken glass!”
Ryouhei swiftly lift Rin in his arms before rush back to the house. He begin take out things that need to treat the wound. Aria and Keitarou reach home a bit later since they need to pack up their things first.
Keitarou helps Aria to put aside their things while saying, “Just go! You must want to check on them.”
“You’re the one who should check on Rin-chan. She’s injured, remember? I can do this because I know where to put this aside. Can you kick Ryo-chan here to help me? We should begin prepare for meal by now.” Aria says that with light hint of her voice crack but it barely audible; it seem something feel not right in her mind.
Keitarou only agree with her since he really worries about Rin. He goes to living room to see Ryouhei is hugging Rin while whispering something. He can’t believe what his eyes just witness that as he knows how that girl really hates with sudden skin-ship.
Rin notice him and quickly push her male childhood friend before says, “Keitarou-kun…”
“Why would you hug him? You’re not supposed to do that when you already with other person.” Say Keitarou in almost cold tone. Without waiting for answer, he walks to his room and bang the door. He tries really hard not to lose his cool composure at the moment.
Rin scolds Ryouhei, “I already told you not to hug me! I’m already with him!”
“I’m only wanted to comfort you. We always do that.” reply Ryouhei. He holds her hands gently before say, “You should know how I’m worry about you when you get hurt. You’re so important for me.”
“Stop with that nonsense!” Rin put full stop on that matter since she’s aware that she needs to have a talk with her lover that clearly needs a proper explanation.
“Rin, I’m sure if you’re not with Keitarou, I already claim you as my girlfriend. You’re so beautiful to be compare with other girls.” Ryouhei say with affectionate tone while try to caress her face but that girl swiftly slap his hand off.
Rin really annoy with that statement and says, “Do you even realize from the way you’re saying that, you just insult Aria-chan. I never know you only care about outer appearance. You’re hurting her and I won’t forgive you!”
“Yes, I care about that aspect the most and it not wrong to admire beautiful things.” Ryouhei slowly reach out his hand to try touching Rin’s face once again.
Suddenly, they hear gasp not far from them and it is Aria. She shutter while saying, “Um…. You guys continue whatever you want and I will go out to buy something for our dinner.”
Rin quickly move away from Ryouhei and return back to the room even her steps a bit wobble. After a moment later, Ryouhei realize Aria just walk out without bring anything with her that make him chase after her. He dashes out from the house with a hope that girl is not far from there yet.

Ryouhei manage to get a grab of Aria’s hand to stop that girl from run away from him. He asks, “Where are you thinking you’re going without bring anything? What will happen if some bad guys target you?”
“I… i…” Aria doesn’t know how to give the reply since her mind keep replay what happen at the living room. Even she tries to forget that, her mind won’t cooperate with her.
Ryouhei pulls her to his body and says, “Gomen, I just caught up with what happen. Get Rin-chan injured while we’re having fun is the last things that we want.”
Aria gasps when hear it and stay silent to digest, “You’re right… It seems that stupid jealousy manage to get into me. I’m really sorry.”
“It’s my fault too…” Ryouhei begin wonder what he should say at that moment. Nothing comes to his mind on how to comfort his lover. It usually easy for him to give any answer on situation when being ask during magazine interview but when he’s in that situation, his mind goes blank.
A stomach’s growl can be heard and Aria timidly says, “Ah~! I really need to eat or I will starve.”
Ryouhei let out tiny laugh despite surprise with that sudden change of that girl while silently relieve that kind comic relief and says, “Let’s walk around here to search for any food and we will take-out since we also has other people at the house.”
Aria happily agrees and begin skip ahead of him since her mind begin think about what she want to eat. Ryouhei manage to stop her to help her to wear long cardigan while saying, “You need to remember that you still wearing swimsuit and I don’t want other guy see your body.”

Rin carefully move to get into the room while make sure the injured area is not touching the floor. She get near to Keitarou and says, “Gomen but it just a misunderstanding. Ryouhei really like to tease us ever since kids.”
“He should realize that you’re my girlfriend and I really jealous with that.” Keitarou says. He’s well-known with his kind nature that become his selling point to his fans and surprise to know that he has such dark emotion deep inside him but he couldn’t stop himself.
Rin lose her patient when see that guy won’t look at her, “Don’t be such a kid! It’s not like both of us will be together as my type of guy is not him! Getting jealous over something like that… I’m not like other girl who recklessly let any guy to touch me!”
Keitarou really surprise with the outburst and tries to apologize but that girl says, “I will ask for more blanket from Aria-chan since we will need more for tonight.”
Rin steps out from the room and Keitarou drop his body to the bed with guilty feeling for his sudden outburst over tiny things. He knows his lover close with those two people but for some reason, he lost his calm composure at the wimp. He covers his face using hand to calm down since he knows Rin will only avoid him if he tries to reconcile.

They have dinner together at dining room but the atmosphere really awkward that make no one could come out with any topic to talk with. Aria finishes her meal early than anyone and says, “I’m going to prepare delicious tea for us to drink after meal.”
“I will help you.” Rin quickly say that and both of them go to kitchen.
Ryouhei says something after being left alone with Keitarou, “I’m sorry for what happen. I never know my acting practice will cause ruckus.”
“I also need to say sorry because suddenly create trouble along with Rin-chan. We just not use to have this kind of situation.” says Keitarou.
Ryouhei say something surprising to him, “Even Aria-chan and I are not really serious since I want to help her. She’s stuck with her mom who keep insist her to bring potential husband and I know she’s not for me.”
“Are you tried to say that you’re just toying with her?” Keitarou ask in disbelief. He never think his best friend is doing that kind of thing even he really popular with his prince-character.
“I’m not doing that to her, I just want to show her how beautiful loving someone. Unlike us who interact with other people, she still limited towards her world of family kimono shop.” Say Ryouhei. He remembers something, “Ah, don’t tell anything to Rin-chan or she will beat me up. Her martial arts skills are really terrifying.”
Keitarou could only mumble in his mind, “I don’t think I could even bring that topic out in front of her. That’s just too… cruel.”
