With the flickering light, the elevator stopped directly on the fifth floor, motionless.
Louis Wellington held Wendy's arm and asked with concern, "Are you okay?"
"Nothing." Wendy waved her hand.
Wearing high heels, she almost fell down. The elevator was still so easy to break down, Wendy thought to herself.
Louis looked at the emergency equipment and frowned.
"That's just a decoration." Wendy Cassia seemed to be familiar with everything here. She walked up to Louis and said calmly, "The elevator here breaks every two or three days. It's okay. If someone comes up and finds that there is something wrong with the elevator, he will ask someone to fix it."
"We have to wait now."
Leaning against the wall, Wendy Cassia tilted her head to wait for the rescue.
Looking at her calm face, Louis couldn't help smiling. He walked to her with his arms crossed. "Miss Wendy, you seem to be familiar with this place."
Wendy Cassia lowered her eyes and chuckled, "I lived here four years ago."
