"So that was how it is. It is no wonder Smooka tried his best to save her when he paid little to no attention to the rest of the squirrels." Zena said as it finally dawned upon her. 

On the side, Fares had already reached out to Risu as he placed his hands over her soft fur and sent out waves of energy into her.

He could 'feel' her injuries and pointed out the few organs that had ruptured. Her organs had been damaged too much for him to heal her, with his energy almost depleted.

He then sat back down and said, "I can't heal her like this. I need to restore my back to my depleted energy."

Zena pointed towards a huge pile in one direction. He could not see what it was in the dark, and seeing as his energy vision cannot help identify anything because of a very bright source of energy coming from the distance, Fares waited for Zena to explain.
