Mundane lives: Gazeera

Boom!!! A coffin lid was flung away.

[Marcelan Bay]

"Gahh!!", a man crawled out of the coffin buried under the sand. He was scampering, twitching and gasping for air. Jake had resurrected using his [Body Double].

"Damn it Gazeera, you could've at least given me a warning or an indication. Imploding me to my death. Jesus!", exclaimed Jake, while he stabilized his breath and heartbeat.

"Huu... , this [Body Double] will last me a year. I need to find a proper vessel again."

"GRRRAAHHH!!!", roared Echidna. Her deafening roar echoed throughout the shore.

"Fuck, things have gotten out of hand. We need reinforcements.", said Jake, as he spoke through the comms. "Clean-up crew mobilize, contain the damages. Seal up this place. Nothing should leave this place."

Jake then took out his satellite phone, tuned it to the B.A.R. channel node.

"MAYDAY MAYDAY, CODE RED NOTICE, ALL NEARBY PERSONNELS REPORT TO [MARCELAN BAY] ASAP!!!", Jake yelled on the phone.

Clean-up crew started sealing the bay. They hovered around it and shot seven colors of rainbow. Which merged at one point and expanded into a bright dome of white light. Spanning the whole bay and covered it completely.

"[Dome of Iris] has been deployed. Area has been sealed.", A crew member reported through the comms.

Jake created a spear of chaos and plunged it to the dome. The spear dispersed.

"Confirmed.", said Jake. "Now we have to hold that monster in there till the reinforcements arrive."

"One last thing.", Jake now took out a [Transciever] to check nearby paranormal activity. All the zones went blazing red. The device gave the eta. for the reinforcements to arrive, as Ten minutes. "Damn, This is going to be a long night."

"GRRRAAHHH!!!", roared Echidna. Her deafening roar echoed throughout the shore.

[Ezekail's Bunker]

"YAAARRGGHH", yelled Gazeera as he held onto [Arachnid's Hold].

"Human, you are very interesting.", mused Echidna.

"Huff... So you are finally in the mood to talk. Huh. Huu...", said Gazeera. He was exhausted holding down this monster. Fortunately [Arachnids Hold] would not be breaking anytime soon.

"Not really, I smell him on you. There is no way I will forget his scent."

"Uhhh...", the situation got a bit awkward for Gazeera. But then suddenly-

Echidna smirks looking at Gazeera's flustered face. She expands her presence throughout the light house. Merging and focusing as much grime and rot as she can into an orb, and releases it at Gazeera. Instantly corroding and devouring him.

Gazeera dies.

Gazeera peeked into the future]

Gazeera immediately scanned his surroundings using [Orion's Tact]. His face red from exhaustion. He sensed a giant pungent green orb merging and forming behind him.

Echidna shot the green orb forward, straight at Gazeera.

Gazeera immediately releases [Arachnid's hold]. He quickly activates [Charm of Space] and warps away.

The orb exploded releasing rot all over the place. Corroding, corrupting and infesting the light house. It started breaking apart, and crumbled down.

Gazeera used [Hell Raiser] to quickly burn away the rot. Then he tore a talisman-

[Time of an Hour's Need]

The Light House stopped crumbling and the bunker stopped caving in, as if they were stuck in a frame.

"This will only last an hour.", Gazeera thought. "I have to either restrain her by then or destroy the rubble."

"Huhu, Interesting you actually managed to avoid that.", said Echidna, while she contained [Chains of Humanity] within her, genuinely surprised.

"Well then, lets do this the old way.", declared Gazeera.

He summoned a wooden staff. Runes of [Algiz] and [Perthro] were etched on it.

Echidna growled, while Gazeera took a battle stance.

Echidna lunged forward. Furious and ferocious. She projected spikes from her body and launched them at Gazeera, tentacles forming all over her body.

She tried to grab him, surrounding him in a shroud of darkness.

Rune [Algiz] started shining brightly, Gazeera swirled the staff and swung it. Deflecting every spike coming his way across the room. He swirled, turned and twisted his weapon, dodged and turned as he rushed straight for the Demon.

Echidna smirked, roared and laughed, crazed form the fight, laughing and roaring, roaring and laughing as she barraged Gazeera with her blows, projectiles and rot.

[Algiz] never stopped gleaming, like a candle in that looming Darkness. Bright and stubborn.

It formed a dome around Gazeera, who continued to swirl that wooden staff like a shield, never faltering as he made his way through that monstrous barrage. He deflected every spike coming his way, blocked every strike form Echidna, kept dodging her grasp continuously, he fought as if his life depended on it, because IT DID!!!, his body screamed of pain, he yelled and screeched from the pain, but kept moving forward unfaltered, determination blazing through his eyes. He was going to reach this monster no matter the cost, no matter the price, he was going to reach this monster as if his life was on the line, because IT WAS!!!

Echidna got startled, Gazeera's aura became more and more dense and terrifying, a shadow loomed over his head.

"You... it can't be... ", Echidna lost her courage for a moment, terrified. Staring at the shadow, pitch black with a tint of blue, yellow flames and dark green light, it had pitch black iris, staring down at her core.

"Haa.... Haaa.... Hrraaa...", Gazeera yelled lunging forward, as he struck Echidna with the rune of [Algiz]

Boom!!!

Gazeera took out a talisman from his fanny pack, and bashed it onto Echidna's head, his surroundings began to warp and lag.

Several bubbles appeared around Echidna, as she groaned and screeched in fright. Several pocket dimensions held her down. She froze as if stuck in a frame.

[Testimony of Time]

The surroundings kept warping, shifting. Echidna started compressing.

"Hehehehe.... ", sneered Echidna.

Echidna augments herself using [Charm of Monstrosity].

[Rune of Cham] corrupts [Testimony of Time].

The seal shatters, Echidna grabs Gazeera consuming him.

Gazeera Died.

Gazeera peeked into the future.]

Gazeera quickly tore the [Testimony of Time] apart. [Mark of Time] was cast on Echidna.

Echidna formed a green orb of infestation, and flings it at him. Gazeera quickly takes out a blue orb and crushes it. Ethereal blue charm of time. A shield in the form of clock surrounds him, the orb gets negated as if time were reversed on it.

Gazeera barrel rolled as he dodged the chained barrage of blows from Echidna.

Echidna then formed a wave of green rot and sent it straight at Gazeera. He crushed another [Orb of Time] dispelling the attack.

"Haaa... You are a [Fragment of Insurgence]. No wonder, that bastard's scent is on you.", sighed Echidna. "Your under his refuge. Haaa... I will kill you... will kill you."

"Huuu... ", Gazeera calmed himself, and reoriented his focus.

Echidna didn't waste anytime, she created multitudes of spikes and held them mid-air.

Gazeera gathered multitudes of [Time pellets].

Swish!....

Echidna flung those spikes, Gazeera crushed the pellets. Several white clocks formed behind him, shooting a barrage of Ethereal blue light.

Every-time the light struck a spike, that spike would fizzle out.

Frustrated, Echidna dashes straight at him, augmenting herself with [Charm of Monstrosity], clenching her fist, running at breakneck speed.

Gazeera quickly takes out a disk out of his Golden backpack. Infuses it with chaos.

The disk unfurls and expands, forming a bright white shield.

[Shield of Iris] deployed.

Echidna punched the Shield, sending Gazeera crashing into a wall.

[Shield of Iris] still intact. Gazeera got up.

Echidna transformed her arms into a pair of molten, rocky chains. Lashing them out on Gazeera.

Gazeera infused [Shield of Iris] with more chaos. Then charged at the Demon, as he squeezed the remnants of his Primeval Energy, surrounding himself with the Ethereal blue [Charm of Time].

He lunged at that monster, his surroundings warped and lagged, breaking apart frame by frame, Echidna's movement drastically slowed down.

The [Shield of Iris] shone brightly, Echidna's eyes widened, a purple beam of light shot forward. Gazeera clapped his hands negating [Time of an Hours Need]. The rubble fell on them.

Crash!!!
