CHAPTER 22 ETERNAL ICE PHOENIX

When Sera realized that they can't fight like this, she turned around held Kai's hands, both of their soul rings disappear as their body shines with blinding light, one blue and one white.

Kai transform into a small white bird and fly upward while Sera turn into a ball of icy blue energy and circle around the bird, then both fused up in the air.

Three green butterfly released from the nature's staff and fell on the huge phoenix, 'Butterfly Seal' it is a powerful restraining skill but as soon as the butterflies touched the phoenix all of them turn into ice sculptures and disperse into mist.

The black turtle shield splits into many palm sized shields that scatter in all directions around Mark 'Turtle Shield Formation', then all the small shields shine with black radiance and attack at the phoenix 'Turtle God Strike'.

But the shields also face the same results and Mark cough out blood, a Martial Soul is a part of a soul wielder's body and the damage to a Martial Soul is equal to the damage of a soul wielder's body.

At the right time Ema take both Mark and Emily out of the battle, it not like Ema can't stop the phoenix but she wanted to see the real power of this Martial Soul fusion still.

The phoenix collided with the battle stage, brilliant icy blue light erupted and the phoenix disappear, in place of it completely exhausted Kai and Sera reappear, ground in 20 meter radius around them has been covered by solid ice.

Only after few seconds Ema come out of her daze and announce the result "all the members of team Dazzlings have eliminated, Heavenly Kings won the match and are winners of this year's freshman competition".

Ria has also returned to her senses when she saw the ice phoenix and understood that this is the trump card Kai had told them about.

Cheers erupt around all the stadium, this year's freshman competition is really memorable where three Martial Soul fusion skills appeared, it is really a batch of genius.

"So what, those Dazzlings were also using their Martial Soul advantage so we used our advantage" Sera.

"Of course their is nothing wrong, after all it is a part of your abilities but remember to not be too arrogant because of it. The real reason behind Dazzling's lose is more of because they are not as united as you and was just fighting their own battle without caring for their teammates and this lead to their lose".

"Lea is not really a qualified leader otherwise even with the fusion skill your victory might not be that easy" Mary.

Other three are just standing behind and are listening to this family conversation without with a little embarrassed look, specially Tony and Ria who has not perform that good in the fight.

"Now let's come to your prizes, thus year their are much more elite students then any year and thus the prize is also better" as she say, a small box also appeared in her palm.

She opened the box, inside the box their is a small blue pill with patterns on it "this this is call azure adamant pill, it can increase one's soul power by a rank without any side effects but its biggest advantage is that it can also increase the person's cultivation speed by little bit".

This last prize is the additional prize she was talking about.
