The four family leaders all turned to Macarthur as Regius leaped through the portal and Macarthur turned to them with a massive shit-eating grin on his face.

"Funny right the arrogant Inventor that you all betrayed gave birth to the only human who has ever worked out the secrets of making spells with creation mana."

Devlin had joined them as the students walked through the portal in the parties of 5 they created.

"The boy caught me off guard in several ways Macarthur even if his social skills need tending to. The boy seems even more arrogant than his father."

Macarthur shrugged his shoulders and looked to the family leaders that were glaring at him in between a hushed conversation.

"He has every right to be. Not only has he done with creation mana what none of us could even hazard to try whenever we've found someone able to use it but he's thousands of times more gifted than even his father."

Devlin looked at MacArthur with a questioning gaze and even the four leaders as well as the man from Atlantis stopped talking to look at Macarthur but Devlin was the only one to speak.

"Macarthur that's high praise and super questionable knowing how powerful Leon was."

Macarthur folded his arms as drones came flying down and touched together before spreading out a screen that displayed the entire portal world. Macarthur conjured a chair of pure Ice and then stared at Regius, now being picked up and followed by a drone.

"Watch and you will see" and with that, he conjured another chair by his side which Devlin sat in.

Going through the portal kinda felt like all of your skin was being pulled tautly and then snapping back into position over and over but luckily it was over quickly. Regius landed lightly on the ground with Petal of Wind still active and landed at the top of a mountain as he looked up to see the portal swirling. He looked around and then muttered to himself.

"Scan for life and mark all current signatures."

The helmet complied and began to scan the surroundings as steady pulses that grew with each passing moment it worked by using harmless wind magic that to most people would feel like a breeze but at the same time, it was attaching tiny particles of light mana that would map out vast expanses and feed the data back to the helmet.

Regius had struggled to build this in and it wasn't until while on a job for MacArthur that he and link had gotten the chance to digest a weird mapping concept from the leader of a local gang. It was what made him realize that he would be able to apply this gluttonous concept of his to even the concepts of others almost unbeknownst to them.

Ten minutes had passed and the helmet was done. This world was no larger than the pre-gathering era USA but his immediate surroundings had plenty of life signs that he assumed were goblins. Regius picked the area that seemed to be the area with the largest population of Goblins and began traveling that way by manifesting pockets of wind and leaping off of them at high speeds. As Regius made his way towards the goblins the other teams began to pour out of the portal and head off in different directions.

The last group that came through was a group that consisted of the 4 families and the princess from Atlantis. The youngest member of the cross family Kingsley began to wave his hands before wind mana came billowing out and into the distance. After several minutes he used the reading from the wind to locate an encampment and directed the group. It was then that the princess spoke to them

"We should part ways here." With that, she looked in the opposite direction of where they were headed, and with a powerful leap, she leapt into the air in the same direction that Regius had taken previously. The snow formed a board beneath her that she rode into the distance. Harry Heaton, the young member of the Heaton family, turned grim as she left and he clenched his knuckles until they let out a crisp crack before he turned to the rest of the group.

"Clear out enough goblins to pass the test."

Kaitlyn spoke up instantly "What about Regius? My mother says he needs to die and I agree the families can't have him spreading the truth of our betrayal there's something my mother told me about that night. The families even with all of them together and Leon injured they weren't able to kill him; he was too strong. They only managed to kill him because they had help. They invited a royal demon to kill Leon."

As she finished speaking Kingsley hung his head low "So not only did we betray 2 of the twelve families we also betrayed all of humanity." Harry grimaced and looked at the 3 of them "Never speak of this again. We did what we had to, the ten families would not have reached their current status with Leon still alive now shut up and let's go complete this test we will worry about Regius after we do what we came here for."
