Regius found Ashlyne stunning after their initial meeting but now was different; the attraction was ignoring her physical traits and was all about those eyes that matched his own. They stared into each other's eyes and the ambient mana that she had locked within her body burst forth almost like the act of shutting it into her body had made it more powerful.
A figure began to wrap around her body but the moment it did the creation mana that surrounded Regius that Leem pointed out before began to do the same. The ambient mana around Ashlyne resembled the shape of a whale while Regius Ambient mana had morphed into a spectral version of Link that was coiled around his body.
The mana from both sides began to confront each other and still, the two of them kept their eyes locked. The mana alone was able to tell Regius that she not only had quantities to match his but more controlled and it seemed purer. She was of a higher rank than him and whatever her ambient mana was doing his concept had begun to copy but right now it was only an imitation.
Regius felt himself on the losing end of the clash and it made his golden eyes blaze brighter. Ashlyne kept eye contact while her hand formed a fist and she threw a jab that broke the sound barrier. Regius tilted his head to the left as the Fool of Owari reformed around his head and he threw a punch equally as fast at her midsection. Her clothes were blown away by the force of the blow but she accepted it with a grunt while headbutting Regius and sending him reeling despite the protection.
Ashlyne ducked low and swept his leg while his armor switched into defensive mode and activated all of the Petals while she delivered another kick to his midsection that sent him rolling across the ground until he could skid to his feet. The moment he regained footing though she was there and with a wave of her hand she had made the snow around his feet trap him in place. She seemed to read Regius' mind and as they continued their close quarters' slug fest she explained. "Any water mana user can learn to manipulate or create ice and snow. They all belong to the water, it's just rare. Macarthur's concept is special in that it causes his water element to constantly suck the heat from things"
Regius nodded at her words but stayed focused while a burst of mana around his ankles broke his makeshift shackles before he made space and pulled out Excalibur. Regius fired four Hydra shots in rapid succession that she swatted away easily before Regius swapped to an explosive bullet he created from earth and fire mana that Regius shot several times at Ashlyne but he also fired copious bullets into the surroundings to rid himself of the snow on the ground.
Ashlyne waved one hand and the remaining snow formed a giant fist that punched Regius and sent him flying. Regius put away Excalibur while flying backward and pulled out Stella Sanguis; he was getting thrashed and she had not even used a spell yet. Regius locked onto her position and sent forth Valkyries Last Kiss cutting deep into Ashlyne's chest wounding her for the first time while Regius closed the gap. Ashlyne twirled her hands and her Astra Manifested mid-spin.
It was beautiful and Regius could tell it was formed purely from Forbidden Astra It was a harpoon with a vibrant Red blade shaped like waves and an elegant handle that looked like it depicted different fearsome Mana beasts of the sea while the other end came into the point of a completely black blade. The center point of the harpoon formed a bubble that began to Rapidly expand to a point before he heard Ashlynes voice "Terrain Spell Deep Abyss." The ball rapidly expanded and Regius was trapped within it with Ashlyne as they now fought back and forth inside of a floating ball of water. Regius noticed that the zone was constantly getting tighter and she had managed to break through his armor and wound him in several places. It would take time for his armor to repair but after another minute of him one-sidedly being beaten he took off the armor out of the fear of it reaching a point where its auto-repair functions would take too long.
The blade switched to all fire and the bubble began to evaporate while Regius also executed the Waltz of Endless Sun. The bubble burst and Regius jumped into the air and plummeted down above her with the Falling Star of Surtr. The blade points met and Regius won again, busting the Harpoon from her grip before cutting deep into the left side of her body and burning most of her clothes which she ignored and kept fighting. She smirked at Regius and the red blade seemed to turn purple and a purple flame burst forth from her body while her spirit came out of her body and settled around her activating Incomplete spirit fusion. Regius finally got a good look at her spirit and was amazed. It was an orca with 4 eyes and colored in blue and red instead of white and black. Its body was massive and as it wrapped around her she gained an extra pair of eyes, as well as her skin, began to match the pattern. It almost looked like she put on a suit made of her spirit where instead of a fin she gained a fin-shaped horn that came off of her forehead and looked like a curved blade. She began to speak as if she was teaching Regius once again "I was born with unparalleled skill in water mana but my concept is balance and so once I got my concept it brought another element into my body to balance it out.
My talent in fire is just as unparalleled and allows me to be a dual element mana user not that my concept can't be used in other ways" She smiled at him with that dazzling smile once again and then before he could even react whizzed by and cut so deeply into his side that he began to spurt blood.
