So far, Lyon has been mending the way he transforms himself, any time he needs a particular altar form to fight or do any task, usually, he would have altered himself into a full-fledged beast, however, after going through some reasons with the help of Mark, not only can he alternate himself into any beast of his choice, he could also alter any particular part of his body, and right now, his hands were now on its usually colour whenever he alters himself. His hand was now red, one might look at it and think it might be a sign of illness, however, Lyon views it as a sign of power.

His hands were not the only part of his body that has turned red, starting from his thigh down to his feet were red and this was giving him a large boost in speed as he sprint towards a particular direction.

Not long, Lyon found himself meeting with the furious gaze of the ghoul, however, they also seem to be hesitant.

"You can tell that I'm like you yet different" Lyon smirked.

"Aaaaaa!"

The cracking roaring of the ghoul was heard before it sprinted towards Lyon. Seeing this, Lyon also reacted with a counterattack...

The two slammed into each other, throwing themselves out back. However, Lyon managed to spin his body and the moment his foot touched the ground, he pounds off by throwing his fist at the ghoul.

The was whacked off to the side by the blow, however, Lyon was not done yet, quickly, he jumped on top of the ghoul before throwing out his punch at its jaw almost breaking it. He was ready to throw another one, but the ghoul opened its mouth taking Lyons fist into his mouth and with just a bit, Lyon's wrists were chewed out from his hand.

'Sh*t, fuck you!' Lyon retreated by keeping a distance from the ghoul, however, the ghoul could not let this opportunity slide away, Lyon was still in terror of his hand being checkered by the ghoul and he raised his head and locked it on the ghoul. However, the ghoul was already on him and ready to bite off his head.

It was then, a slightly gigantic bone sword swung at him, and the ghoul was whacked off Lyons body. Meanwhile, the ghoul had managed to stabilise itself by digging his fingernails into the ground.

The ghoul kicked off again, but this time, it was heading in Bull's direction and swung its claws again. Bull was skilled in fighting, though the ghoul was way faster than him, Bull wasn't slow himself, after joining Nate's horde, he and his former spirit squad soldiers were focused on absorbing beast crystal, which had increased their body vitality to a higher extent than before.

'Before I was not able to carry this bone sword around that much because it was a bit too heavy density, however, after all those crystals I have absorbed, I almost as if I'm holding onto a feeder,' Bull thought as he swung the sword at the ghoul, however, the ghoul duck the sword by sliding under the sword.

Doing this, the ghoul stuck its fist into Bull's chest, there was no pain reaction from Bull, as he prepared to stab the sword at the ghoul, however, something else had just dragged the ghoul out of the way while tossing the zombie up before punching the ghoul out into the distance.

"Regardless, I still appreciate your help, but this thing is not something you should stay away from," Lyon instructed then before turning to the ghouls.

"You seem tougher than I thought" muttered Lyon as the sleeveless clothes started to tier apart while reviving the pale red skin.

Laying all on the floor and platform of the roundabout were zombies, some of them have missing limbs such as hands and legs, but most just has broken bones, however, even in this condition, they were slowly trying to reach out for Nate.

"I have used up my horde slot, but I still have something I can do about this"

Nate continue with what he was doing as he initiate nearly all the zombies that were in the area.

Seeing the red skin creatures, at first, Bull thought that Peter might have joined the fight, but he knows that Peter never left with them, therefore, he could only think of one thing.

"Is that Lyon? But, how was he able to transform into a ghoul himself" Bull was confused. One should know that he was not there when Lyon absorbed the first ghoul zombie they encountered, so he never knew that Lyon was able to alter into a ghoul.

Meanwhile, the ghoul had just gotten up and looked at Lyon, one could see the look of startle on the ghoul's face and the zombie was hesitating to move.

"Are you now scared?!"

Hearing Lyons mockery, the ghoul roared before sprinting towards Lyon. "Just what I want" murmured Lyon.

When the ghoul was just a few meters away from him, the thin mantis wing was unleashed from his back as he flew up, allowing the ghoul to hit nothing but the air. Now he was in the air, the wing was flipped a few times, pushing Lyon downwards, Lyon ended up upon the ghoul, smashing it into the ground. Forming a large crater hole on the floor.

"You want to bite off my head right? I will show you how to do it" Lyon lamented before opening his wide jaw and taking the whole of the ghoul's head into his mouth.

Crack! Crack!! Crack!!!.

The sound of a skull being chewed was heard. Lyon tossed the dead body of the ghoul up to the surface before he also jumped out to the crater.

Meanwhile, his missing wrists were already growing back.

"That was too mean" Bull commented after the dust had settled and he could see the missing head ghoul.

"Yeah, that could have been me in that state" Lyon replied.

"So what do I get from saving your ass?" Bull asked.

"You didn't save me and don't dream of taking the crystal, " Lyon said as he stabbed his hand into the chest of the ghoul before taking out a crystal. "What is this?" Lyon has a complex expression.

The ghoul crystal was a bit too small to compare with the one they first saw.

"Maybe it's yet to fully evolve," Bull said.

Lyon wanted to press on to the issue, but they just got a scary and furious telecommunication from Nate.

As they both began to run back towards Nate and Dike, direction.
