godkiller.

Although Leo found Nate's questions unnecessary, he had already explained to him the reason why he was called. However, Nate wasn't directing the question to him in anyways.

He know the reason why Leo had called him and that was to take on the zombie. Although it seems ridiculous that a zombie was being assigned to cure the zombie virus, but what better person would know how to solve a problem than a person who has that problem?

Unfortunately, after discovering their bloodline, Nate was no longer satisfied with just that single answer. He believes that they have to be another reason why he was called and the glowing orb have just answered him.

"I know you might have wondered what I meant by that, but it's all parts of the plan... You will take all the zombies in the world under you and with them being your subject, you tend to evolve into some godly being," the orb said.

Nate still didn't understand it, but one thing he understands was that the answer the orb gave was somehow related to what Ozzie have told him.

He would have to get people under him, after with those people have some sort of loyalty to him, he will evolve.

"I will explain further on how it works," the orb said.

"When a mortal started having followers that are loyal to him, depending on how much more people he can keep helping, the universe will be blessing such mortal with an enemy called merit energy,"

"The merit energy although this energy at this point is kind of useless because neither can you use it at that moment, however, when this merit matures, the mortal that's being praised stood a chance of evolving into some sort of godly being," the orb explained.

"Even you at the moment are gaining a lot of merit energy, but you have no idea about that. A lot of humans you have saved and also some of those zombies are all grateful to you and in return, the universe is blessing you with the merit energy," the orb said.

Just when Nate thought his question has been answered, he became more confused with what the orb has said.

If he truly have have the merit energy, then, how is it that the system was not informing him about it?

As if he know what Nate was thinking about, Leo was the one to speak out.

"The reason why you can't see your merit point is because it's being directed to your experience point. Have you ever wondered why you get experience points every twenty-four hours?" Leo asked.

Of course, Nate have one thought about this but he still couldn't put his fingers on why he was getting the daily experience point from the system, although he know it was being calculated by the amount of pledged members he has.

"So what happens when I reach the maximum level of the system?" Nate asked.

"I don't know, it's up to you to find out when the time comes" Leo replied.

"Any other question?" the orb asked facing from Peter to Nate.

"What about the bloodline power, how are we meant to use it?" Peter asked.

Nate was glad that Peter asked about it, it have nearly skipped his mind about the bloodline power they just received.

"That's a good question... By now, am sure the system must have informed you about your not being able to use... The reason for that is because use power still can not handle the power pressure from the bloodline."

"If you use it now, they are two likely things that will happen, one is nothing, and the second is it might destroy your bodies... But I will advise you not to try and use the energy on your body," the orb answered.

"But then how can we use it or when are we going to use it?" Nate asked.

"If you want to be able to handle the pressure, then you have to become as strong as a god or even a god itself, but since you are not yet at that level and I could guess you need the power to solve your problems, then they are another way you can use the energy," the orb said.

Nate and Peter were all ears as they listened.

"You can infuse the bloodline energy into your weapons... This is another way you can make use of the energy." the orb said.

"But be careful... The bloodline power is always hostile to anyone that is not of the family blood, if you have a weapon with the family bloodline in it, I will advise keeping it out of reach of your friends because it can kill them if they try to wield the energy," the orb said.

With that, it seems like the meeting was coming to an end and Nate have learned a lot of things that have changed his point of view on things now.

From the energy crystal, the light orb started to head back into the crystal it came out from.

"The next time we meet, I hope you have gotten strong enough to wield the energy on your body," the orb said before fading away totally.

"Now that gave me a lot of stress on convincing you all," Leo sighed with a smile.

"How long have you known them?" Nate asked.

Leo smiled at that question. "Long enough, I am just too old for me to remember how old I am," Leo said.

Meanwhile, Peter's eyes were back on Chris, he took a step forward but felt something on his chest. It was pain, something he have long forgotten how it felt.

Nate also noticing the rise in energy looked at Peter and Chris. "Peter you have to stop it before you get yourself killed," Nate warned but this time, he kind of used a commanding tone which made Peter comply stepping away from Chris, Peter headed towards Leo.

"I don't want to see him outside again," Peter said.

Leo could only nod in understanding, at least this was the least he could do for Peter after giving up on his vengeance.

When Leo have stopped Peter from killing Chris, at that moment, the latter has the option of not listening to him and could have killed Chris without suffering the consequence since he have not learned about their bloodline back then and it took no effect on him.

However, Peter chooses to listen to Leo back then and let Chris go for the time being.

"So... How about Ozzie, the system said I should seek your help," Nate asked.

Leo's attention was snapped back to reality. "Yeah, and I have an idea of how we are going to do that," Leo said.

Meanwhile, Nate was feeling some sudden sense of confidence in himself. With his bloodline power, he wonders whether the system will still consider him weaker than Ozzie at the moment.

"I know what you might be thinking but trust me, if with your bloodline power, you might be able to do that but it will destroy the plans for you," Leo said.

Nate kept silent which Leo took to explain himself.

"Although Ozzie is not yet on that level, he already has a lot of merit points and has been set on that path... All he needs now was just a little more push to become to finally reach the godhood level. Anyways, that's where the problem comes in, if you were to kill Ozzie now, it will set you out of the path of the godhood and put you into the path of the gods-killer,"

"gods-killer?" Nate and Peter said at the same time.

"Yes...gods-killer, they are part of the high beings, and just as their name said, they are as strong as gods and they aim to kill all gods in existence," Leo explains.

It was something else Nate need to learn about and it will take some time for Leo to be through with his explanation.

In the end, Nate and Peter were returned to Golgotha where they could see the others present in the room.

Soon, their presence was noticed by the others.

"It's... Ozzie... He is heading for the city,
