I could hear Stefie screaming hysterically as the black shadow lunged at me. Made me float a few centimeters above the ground until my left hand landed first on the broken asphalt. 

  It hurts and my left leg also hurts strangely. Plus the left side of my head also landed first, the black screen closed my eyes so I can't remember what happened after that. I think I had an accident hearing Stefie cry shaking her shoulders.

My eyes were too heavy to open but I was aware enough to hear a lot of busy people around me. There was the sound of an ambulance siren or a police siren, I can't remember clearly. One thing I'm sure of is that the typical hospital smell is etched in my throbbing head.
