Chapter 15 A New Day
The pair of red heads submitted their hunt before heading to their inn to call it a day. The event that happened today shook their core. Leah can suppress her emotion by just looking at her darling however the same cannot be said for Cleo. He felt powerless in that moment, the only solace he clings into was that Valerie manage to save some of the Novices from the massacre.
The pair lay in the bed. Cleo hugs Leah from behind. "We need to get stronger Leah. As much as I want to be extra cautious I think we need to start utilizing your God's Gift. Don't worry once its on cool down we will lay low." whispered by Cleo.
Leah just nods while showing a determined face. She turn around, slowly approach Cleo's lips with her own. The pair share a passionate kiss before entering dream land.
Morning came. As usual Cleo woke up first. He proceed to do his morning routine while Leah is sleeping. Go down to buy breakfast and eavesdrop for some information from the loud patrons before going back up to wake up Leah so they can eat together.
"What did I told you! I was right! Lavierre Kingdom have their third God's Chosen!" shouted by the same thin patron who spread the rumor in this inn.
"Yes yes Mr. Oracle. How about you use that power of yours to know why is your wife going home late." replied by the fat patron sarcastically.
Before the two duke it Cleo decided to go back while carrying the breakfast he ordered. The pair then do their usual morning routine before heading out to the forest to hunt monsters.
Cleo and Leah finished preparing for the hunt and decided to go down. They saw a raven color haired Crusader diffusing the fight of the two patrons. Both of them was being handled by Valerie like a toddler.
"Valerie?" muttered by Cleo confuse on why the Crusader is in this establishment since as far as he knows SwordSaints Guild is located on another town.
Valerie then tossed the two nobles and give the both of them a fierce stare. She then proceed to scan the area as if she's looking for someone.
"Cleo! Leah!" shouted by Valerie once she spotted a pair of red heads coming down from the stairs.
"What are you doing here Valerie?" asked by Cleo.
"Christoff send me here to deliver this to the both of you. He worked hard to get the ownership of these two item saying that you guys deserved this after yesterday's incident." explained by Valerie while pulling out two sword from her spatial ring.
One of the sword looks familiar. A double edge sword with a skull shape at the end of its hilt. This is Magno's sword which Christoff got when he slain the elite monster. The other one is shorter because its slightly curved the hilt also has a skull shape by its end.
"As you can see both of these are from an elite monster. This double edge sword was from Magno the Cruel while the curved sword is a reward we get from DuskFall Guild since we saved their Novices."

A sword dropped by Magno the Cruel. User will get +5 to Str.
[Bonus Skill]
Blood Sacrifice - can be only use when the user is injured. Absorb some blood to empower its next attack.
[Merciless Curved Sword]
A sword dropped by Ruzzrakk the Merciless. User will get +5 to Agi.
[Bonus Skill]
Sword Throw - Throwing this sword while imbued with mana make it 10x larger. Travel speed of the sword is base on the user's Agility.
Sword Recall - Recalls the sword within 100m radius.
The pair once again give their gratitude towards this Crusader. Cleo decided to take the double edged sword while Leah decided to take the curved sword since she can utilize the bonus skill more and even if that attack failed she still have Sword Recall and Conjure Sword as a backup.
