Synopsis

A guy was living his everyday life, but things happened, and he took a shot and eventually died. But his life didn’t end there, and he transmigrated to another world. The new world was a reversed world from his own; the gender roles and morals were reversed here, and overall, men and women had interchanged their respective roles in society. Not only that, this world had magic and swords despite being a modern world. He was in a family of women, with his mother and three sisters. Apparently, he will be starting high school soon and has no idea how to behave in this new and weird world. "And I have a magic affinity for... WHAT!?" -------------------- Hello, I am a new writer, and my novel was inspired by another author’s work on the platform. I really loved his idea of a reverse world and decided to try one myself. These reverse world stories are highly underrated in my opinion, as they describe a world that is very unique and pictures our everyday society in a reversed manner without offending anyone.

Chapter 1Chapter 1

"AGH-!" A boy screamed and woke up to a neat and clean bedroom, his eyes instantly wandering around the room. He was panting as he looked at everything with fear and suspicion.

"W-where am I?" The young man asked himself He was just a moment ago on his way to buy groceries, but on the way to the store, he encountered a speeding car. The driver was drunk and rammed the car right into him. He blacked out, and the next thing he knew, he was in this unfamiliar yet familiar bedroom.

He scratched his head and pressed his forehead, trying to calm his nerves. He huffed slightly while arranging his thoughts. Getting up from the soft yet girly bed, he wobbly strutted towards the full-body mirror near the study desk, coming face-to-face with it. "What!?" He exclaimed in shock, looking at the reflection.

The boy in front of him looked around 16 but was unnaturally handsome; he had pitch-black short hair, golden and clear eyes that shone with brilliance and life, a well-defined jawline, and a lean and toned body, although he had no muscles but was perfectly fit.

He could have been a top model, in his opinion, if only he hadn't had this weird sense of fashion and clothing decorating him. His hair was combed weirdly, his face was filled with powder and smelled too strong, and his lips had some weird lip gloss applied to them. His clothes were too bright and unmatched.

'A clown…' He thought as he looked at himself. The combination was just too extreme and weird for his tastes.

But that was not important right now; he touched his chest and felt his heart beating wildly. "The only guess I could make is that I have somehow transmigrated." He had some knowledge beforehand about such concepts but always thought they were just willful fantasies.

"Ugh-! I need to calm down. I should think about my situation more clearly and gather some information about my surroundings. From the looks of it, I am in a modern world; the bed, the electronic appliances, they all seem similar." He concluded, making his way to the washroom just connected to his room,

Splash!

He used the water to wash off all the excess powder, rinsed his mouth to remove the weird lip gloss, and dried himself with the soft pink towel.

"Ah, finally, it feels somehow refreshing." He relished feeling the cold water against his face; that helped him calm down slightly for the time being.

Coming back to his room, he looked around. The room was filled with pink things, giving it a feminine touch. The bedsheets, pillow covers, curtains, and stationary on the study desk gave him the feeling as if he were in a girl's room.

"Is this even 'this body's' room or not?" He shifted uncomfortably at that thought. He tried to find a mobile phone or a laptop.

After a small search, he found a smartphone near the bed on the lamp table and a laptop in a small backpack placed just by the curtains.

He put them both in front of him; the smartphone had a lock that required him to enter a numeric pin, but he didn't have the memories of this body yet, so he could only turn to the laptop, which was fortunately without a lock.

"Phew…" He exhaled in relief. He knew how dangerous it was to go out without any prior knowledge of the world.

His fingers traced on the trackpad, scrolling down, looking for a search engine if there was one. He browsed through various files stored on the laptop,

He knew it was a breach of privacy, but his chaotic mind couldn't care less at the moment. From the display pictures, it very well seemed to belong to this body.

He saw the various pictures in the folder; the pictures were mostly of him doing different poses at different places. 'They seem useless." They more or less looked like the photos one would post on social media.

Closing the tab, he found something that looked like a search engine.

[Magic Net]

'Huh?  " That sure is a weird name to put on a search engine." He didn't waste any time and searched for information about the world, its history, the cultures, and possibly the social media account of this body to learn more about himself.

Time passed slowly as he saw the results pop up one after another.

His fingers scrolled relentlessly, his hands typing hard on the keypad. The more he scrolled and surfed, the more his eyes widened in shock.

At the end of his search, his hands trembled; he was trying to calm himself. He cast a glance back at the feminine bedroom, and only now could he understand why this body's original owner had made such choices.

"This is a flipped-up world; gender roles are reversed here. In this alternate world, women are born physically stronger and are more dominant than men in society. They take on traditionally "manly" jobs and roles, while men are relegated to more "feminine" tasks like cooking and cleaning. Society is structured around the idea of female power, with women holding most of the positions of authority and influence.

But even with their physical strength, women still face discrimination and oppression from those who cling to outdated notions of gender roles," he laughed out, laughing at this absurdity.

What more? This world had magic; he was expecting some magical elements to be present beforehand, so he wasn't that shocked.

He had seen the heroes travelling to other worlds, defeating demons, and living a life full of adventures. It's not that he liked that, but from his perspective, they had never encountered a situation like his.

He lay on the bed for the next few minutes; he was not sure what to do now. He had the basic overview, and he was fortunate that the world was progressing towards gender equality. People were slowly rising, destroying the line that divided the two genders, trying to achieve peace for all.

He felt grateful suddenly to those who worked for others' sake to promote equality and freedom, or he would have had to live out his life in constant fear of women.

"At least they have toilets here." He smiled, trying to take things in a positive direction.

GlaringError here! As I have already mentioned in my author review I am restating it here since I am getting tons of comments about it, that I am more of a reader myself than a writer, I made this novel in an attempt to capture my fantasy world residing in my mind into words.. Writing is new for me.. The premise of my novel is inspired by many great works that I have loved over the years. And some elements I have in my novel that are slightly similar to them but it's just the skeleton of it, the real meat of the plot is entirely my own cooking. Some of the influence that is more noticeable is from The Runesmith (By Kuropon), The King's Avatar (By Butterfly Blue) and Shadow Slave (By Guiltythree). I have immense respect for these legends and I can only hope to follow in their footsteps. To all those who comment just by judging the name, at least give it a chance before letting your opinions be known. Thank you.

Shocked voices could be heard from the people and there was some which were also filled with scorn. Grey stood dazed amidst all the noises without any reactions. One word was constantly reverberating in his head, 'How?'. 'Why, why did this happen to me?' Grey asked himself over and over again **************** Unbeknownst to Grey, something greater lies in wait in his body.... *************** Check out the book, leave a review after reading, and also your powerstones. Hope you enjoy this, and Thanks for reading ^_^ P.S: When I started this book I had zero writing experience, so the first chapters aren't that great, although, my writing quality has improved over time. Also, English isn't my first language, so there are some instances where my choice of words are not good enough for what I'm trying to portray. A heads up, the book will be using a medieval setting. My world building is not the best, but it gets better over time, so bear with me on the early chapters! P.S: Cover art not mine I just edited it.
