William Leoda; The Relations

Spear was right, William did check out information about his family and their past, but it seems like the family start with both his mother and father, while in actuality both his parents always talk about how great their father is, so how come none of their names and achievements were in the records, in fact no institutions record holds any information about them.

It was as if the people, Eloise and Allen talks about don't even exist at all.

"It seems am correct on that one, and the reason you could not find anything on your grandparents and relatives is because the king wipe them all out and leave your father from the Leoda family and your mother from the Welis family alive and he somehow bring them close, till they end up marrying each other. It's also the reason why it only me and my son that are left from my family, this was the king been merciful to us. Your mother's father was the first king aide in our generation, your father's father is the second, while l was the third in line, and this is also how the power scale was too. Tunde Welis, your mother's father was an anomaly and an absolute genius in the soul energy usage, and Ikija Leoda, your father's father was another anomaly in the use of body energy but these talents and brilliance of them both was what pave the way for our down fall" Spear said slowly, the sadness in his voice was so palatable.

"With each attainment Tunde gain in soul energy, the more his notice the 'damage' that has been cause to us, he explained his hypothesis to us which we later confirm to be correct, his findings was that every time very strong awakens dies or whenever weak awaken dies in large numbers, the king strength visibly increased, he saw something both me and Ikija could not, they both choose to confront the king and take him out for rearing the human like chicken that will later be killed, whenever the time is right." Spear continues.

"Some night l wish they never confront that demon in human skin, he kill them and every single human with the name of Leoda, Welis, and Sanade only leaving your mother, Eloise, your father, Allen, me and my son alive, his reason for not killing me is what l still don't understand."

"And one of the things Tunde found out was that, the moment the king is killed so will everyone that has ever taken a shot of Magani-0 too. both Tunde and Ikija were both ready to take that risk and save the humankind from his clutches, they would have succeed in killing him too." Spear takes a second to catch his breath before he continues.

"but the king has me and the other two aides to support him and the outcome is what it is now, l could not bear the guilty anymore so l told Alex everything, we decide to take the first plan Tunde came up with, and that is to create a technology or weapon that could restrict the king from using any of his powers while we keep him alive, Tunde did not take this solution simply because he believe a lot of innocent people will have died before he could figure out a way or how to truly restrict the king and he was right."

"it took both me and Alex twelve long years to figure out what to do and how to go about it and another five years to actually bring that idea to life, he breaks my heart and soul every single time that monster order us to kill. And now the king, his way more powerful for any of the aides to handle him alone, even if we band together, we will be nothing but fish on the chopping board, and as you know bad news comes in pair, and that is the other aides don't care about whatever it is that king is doing to the human's life as long as they can live long and enjoy abundant wealth, they are nothing but piece of shit" Spear said with anger in his voice.

William sit still, at a point in Spear explanation William had closed his eyes, whether he is sleeping or not Spear could not tell and even William's expression has become too hard to read. They both stay in silence as they stared at each other.

"You betray them" after six long minutes, William finally said as he opens he eyes slowly.

Spear face fell, he had try as much as possible to make himself a victim too and not talk about his betrayal but it seem William saw through it in his explanation and pick up the things he did not say.

"I won't try to justify whether what l did was right or wrong, yes l did betray them, which was never my intention, they both could have had enough time to plan how best to go about it but no they choose to make the decision for everyone, what if Tunde was right and everyone dies after they kill the king and l can assure you Tunde is never wrong about the things he says, so what then? Is every awaken suppose to just die base on two people's decision? That does not seem fair to me, so l told the king about what they were planning to do, since just like everyone else l believe him too to be our savior" Spear said slowly, looking back at what he had done he realized that he is nothing but a hypocrite.
