Harvey took care of me in the hospital day and night for a week.
After the kiss, there was always an unspeakable awkwardness between us.
Fortunately, I was about to be discharged from the hospital and no longer needed to face him alone.
On the day of discharge, Calvin also came.
When I saw Calvin, I decisively left Harvey behind and limped toward Calvin with one foot. Calvin raised his gaze and smiled faintly. "Don't move. I'll come over."
"Sure!"
I couldn't help but feel guilty. I wished Calvin could come to me quickly, as I did not want to stay alone with Harvey anymore.
Just then, Harvey suddenly grabbed me by the back of my collar. As he accidentally scratched my neck with his fingertip, I took a deep breath and did not dare to move.
"Don't you try to run again."
His breath fluttered against my ear as he lowered his head and spoke. It felt a little ticklish.
I swallowed hard before looking up at Harvey and meeting his deep eyes.
