8-I'm not sick?

Grace looked at the two of them with a slight worry and confusion.

Suddenly, Grace felt her heart being squished and it felt heavy. Grace felt very uncomfortable.

Grace was in a lot of pain.

Ron wanted to help Grace but Damon was one step quicker.

Damon went closer to her and began to absorb her excessive mana.

Grace began to feel great and wonderful.

"Damon thank you for being with me."said Grace

Damon hugged Grace and used his paws to squish her face.

Ron came closer to Grace and asked"Grace are you feeling ok? Does it hurt? How long have you been in this much pain?"

Grace began to have tears in her eyes and said"Please don't abandon me! Will you leave me? I know I'm sick but I won't be a burden."

Ron was shocked and he immediately said"No way! You are my precious niece! I will never abandon you because you are sick! In fact I will keep you safe. Now that I have met you, I will protect you from any harm."

Grace was moved by what Ron said.

She smiled brightly and said"you won't abandon me right?"

Ron replied"Never!"

Ron removed Damon from Grace's lap and began to hug her.

Damon was annoyed but he let it go for Grace's sake.

Damon waited patiently for Ron to leave Grace's side but he didn't move at all.

He waited and waited.

Damon felt irritated and once again kicked Ron in his face and pushed him off of Grace's side.

Damon went to Grace and began to beg her for her affection.

However, Damon did not feel any petting. He stared at Grace and she looked mad at him.

Damon looked sad and his eyes became teary, he looked at Grace with a very pitiful appearance.

Grace's anger immediately cooled down.

"Damon, please do not kick uncle, I don't like this behaviour. I know that you want to stay with me, but please do not hurt someone I love. I cannot forgive you if you do it again."said Grace

Damon nodded his head and jumped in Grace's arms.

Grace began to pet him lovingly.

Ron found the scene to be very beautiful, but somewhere in his heart he felt like beating up Damon.

Ron tried to calm himself down that Damon is just a weird creature. He is not going to steal Grace away from them.

Grace hugged Damon tightly and kissed him in his nose.

Damon was baffled, but he did not hate it.

Ron was shocked and he had a huge murderous intent.

Ron internal voice: Calm down. Calm down. He is just a small animal. There is no need to be wary of him.

Little did he know that Damon is not just a small animal.....

Ron remembered what the doctor suggested to do to help Grace.

Ron went near Grace and said"Grace, there is a good news for you. You are not sick but have a lot of mana in your body. The excessive mana is the reason why you feel too much in pain because you couldn't release the mana outside of your body so it accumulated in your body. Thus, if you use magic to release the excessive mana from your body, you should feel better. Do you know how to use magic?"

Grace looked confused and asked"Uncle, what do you mean by magic?"

Ron smiled and gave a demonstration.

Out of nowhere, in Ron's hand a fire appeared. He showed the fire near Grace and began to explain"Magic is something everyone in this world is able to use. The goddess of Gaia and the God of life and death bless the people living in this world with a gift. They are able to use magic. Some people have a lot of mana, while others have less mana. Most people have enough mana to use basic magic spells. Your case is very special. You are one of the very few people who has an abnormal amount of mana in your body."

Grace eyes sparkled with curiosity and asked"Uncle, does it mean that I can use magic?"

Ron nodded his head.

Grace felt very excited and she decided to try it out. She tried to imagine to create a fireball in her hand.

Ron immediately shouted at her to stop. He had a feeling that if he didn't stop her, something bad will happen.

Damon looked at Grace with a surprised look and he also praised Ron in his heart for his good intuition.

Damon had already noticed that outside of this building a giant fireball was summoned when Grace was trying to mimic Ron.

Luckily it disappeared when Ron told Grace to stop.

Grace looked sad.

Ron couldn't bear to see Grace look sad so he decided to bring her somewhere safe to use magic.

"Grace, it's too dangerous for you to use magic in this building. So, bear with me for a while, I'm going to teleport us to a safer place."said Ron

Ron took out a beautiful pink gem stone, he began to chant.

A huge magic circle appeared below them.
