2-Deep in the forest

Grace was looking for the herbs but there were no herbs available in the outskirts of the forest of never return.

She looked at the sky, it was still bright.

She resolved herself to look for the herbs. She does not want her little siblings to suffer.

She bravely went deeper into the forest.

She was fully alert and was marking her way by using a dragger to mark down the trees.

Suddenly, she heard a loud roar.

Her body was completely frozen and she became completely alert.

She stayed still for a while before she began to slowly move around the forest.

She carefully moved inside the forest to search for the herbs, but she didn't realize that she was already getting too deep into the forest.

Her mind was only focused on finding those herbs. She was deeply thinking about her dear siblings.

She looked for the herb everywhere, but she couldn't find any herbs. Her eyes were full of tears as she began to breakdown in tears.

"I'm sorry Jane and Allen! Your big sister is so useless. I can't even protect you two from that crazy old man. If only I wasn't this weak! If only our big brother was still here...."cried Grace

Suddenly, Grace felt intense heart pain, she bit her lips very hard. She tried her best not to scream out loud.

*thump thump thump thump...*

She felt her body heat up. Her entire body felt weak.

Then she heard a loud roar!

A huge monster with scaly skin and four legs were staring at her intensely.

Grace wanted to run away, but her body was feeling too weak.

Flashback

"My wonderful sister, you will be able to recover from this illness. I promise you! I will never let you down "said a handsome man with blonde hair and emerald eyes, the man looked at the little girl with so much love and affection.

Grace tried her best to reach her brother and hugged him very tightly.

"Brother. Don't go away! You are my only family left. Please don't leave me."pleaded Grace

Her brother looked at her with complex emotions in his eyes, he hugged Grace and kissed her in the forehead.

"Brother will not leave you, I will be back with your medicine. Wait for me! Stay with our family and the twins."said her brother

Grace wanted to reach out to her brother, but she felt deeply asleep.

Grace looked at the huge monster, she was truly scared, but she remembers her brother, the twins. She cannot let her siblings be sold as slaves by her evil grandfather. She will not allow this to happen.

Grace tried her best to stand up, but before she could stand. The monster attacked her.

She was thrown into the tree.

Grace grumbled in pain.

In that moment, Grace vision became very slow, the entire world felt like it was moving slow. Grace saw the monster approaching her. She tried her best to hold her dragger.

With all her might she used her dragger to dig into the monster skin.

The monster screamed in pain and it immediately screamed even louder.

Grace ears were hurt by the screeching scream.

The monster looked at Grace with rage and anger, it wanted to kill and torture Grace.

Grace was frozen, her entire body was numb.

She wanted to continue fighting but her rare disease had flared up and she was also very injured.

The monster approached her in full speed.
