With such a personality, Ming Ze finally understood why his cultivation was so low despite being the first son of the Sun Great Emperor.
He was probably the most badly behaved of all.
The people outside the gates could only smile wryly at his antics.
In Ming Ze's eyes, his existence was also no different from the bullies, no wonder Evelyn didn't take much care of him.
He was still acting like a child at his age.
Ming Ze chose not to say anything as he stared at him.
He looked outside the gate again, still waiting for the Second Prince.
"It looks like he's not around or he might not dare," Ming Ze said to the old man.
His face flushed slightly at Ming Ze's words.
He also hadn't expected that the Second Prince hadn't shown up. In his opinion, even if he wasn't in the city, he should have received information.
"Let go of my son!" And suddenly there was a soft voice echoing from one of the tallest buildings within the city.
The voice was calm and charming, very comfortable to hear.
Everyone couldn't help but look towards the building where the voice came from, spontaneously saying, "Empress Mei, she really appeared!"
They seemed to be very surprised.
Some quietly whispered to each other.
"I guess she hasn't been in this Empire since the conflict with the Princess."
"Did she just come back?"
"Perhaps, she must be seeking revenge for the Princess having slaughtered her clan."
The last words were spoken very quietly, but Ming Ze still managed to hear them.
This was unexpected news for him.
The conflicts within the imperial family seemed to never stop.
The First Prince when staring at the building showed an annoyed expression.
He coldly snorted and said, "Hey you, Empress Mei, if you want to save your son, come here and be sure to make amends to your son, don't just talk from there."
The First Prince's voice echoed loudly, and definitely reached the building.
When dealing with an Empress, Ming Ze couldn't say that he could act as he pleased.
An Empress had the Emperor's love, so it was possible for her to influence the Emperor's mind to harm Ming Ze.
This wasn't thought of by Ming Ze before this because he was too focused on the Princes.
For the Princes, perhaps they could come into conflict with the Emperor's wives, but outsiders should refrain unless they were supporters of one of the wives.
It was just that, Ming Ze wondered if being supported by Evelyn was enough for him to fight one of the Sun Great Emperor's wives?
He was silent for quite a while and eventually still chose silence, as if he wanted Empress Mei to do what the First Prince said, to come and make amends for her son.
Ming Ze stared at the building she was in, waiting for her arrival while wondering if it was too difficult for a woman like her to appear.
The old man initially looked happy that Empress Mei was speaking, but he became uneasy that she did not appear.
"Maybe she's worried that if the princess is still here, she should hide inside a formation that even the princess can't penetrate." Someone suddenly said.
This was agreed upon by the top cultivators.
She shouldn't want her whereabouts to be known, and because of her son's matter, she was forced to show that she was in the city.
"Then where is the Second Prince, what's keeping him from showing up?" The others wondered.
"I'm afraid he's doing something much more important."
"It's a pity, sigh, Empress Mei and the Second Prince used to be the center of the empire during the Emperor's absence, it's a pity that their position was taken over by the Princess."
"This is the rule, the weak will be preyed upon by the strong. Hehehe. The Princess is so talented and clever, they were powerless against her."
"Yesterday I heard that the Third Prince also wanted to kick Ming Ze out of the empire, why hasn't he shown up now?" There were other people wondering, staring at a mansion floating in the sky.
It was the residence of the Third Prince, the strongest under the Second Prince.
"Of course, he's scared now?" The First Prince suddenly spoke, looking at the floating mansion with a cynical gaze.
If everyone was afraid to come out, then who would stop Ming Ze?
At this point, Ming Ze began to feel bored.
He finally climbed down from the Forty-fifth Prince's body.
With a cold face, he kicked him until he was thrown out of the palace gate, falling heavily.
The severed hand coupled with the hollow neck made him really look like a dead fish. He was completely helpless.
"Your Highness!" The old man, his servant quickly approached him.
He lifted him up and flew to the building where Empress Mei was.
"Where is Evelyn?" Ming Ze then asked the First Prince.
The woman suddenly disappeared, leaving him alone in the palace. This was quite upsetting to Ming Ze. Was he not seriously related to her?
"She went to the Roundtable," the First Prince replied with a faint smile.
"Brother-in-law, you don't have to worry about being lonely since my little sister is away. If you want to take a walk, I'll accompany you, I'll take you to various nice places in our world," he added.
Ming Ze didn't think much of the man's offer. He was thinking about the Roundtable. He knew it because he had heard of it.
It was a closed meeting, and only Ninth Stage Immortal Emperors, the peak below Immortal Ancestors, were eligible to attend.
It was considered a mysterious meeting, having started a long time ago. Not many knew what the meeting was based on. After all, many of the people who joined the meeting were great enemies. Gathering them in one place could cause an earth-shaking fight, but strangely there was no such fight during the gathering.
The hostile people only fought at different times.
'Master, where are we now?' Ming Ze suddenly heard a girl's voice inside his head.
Spontaneously, he looked down at the sword in his hand. 'Yu'er, are you awake?' he said via Voice Transmigration.
He was actually talking to his sword spirit. She fell asleep during the competition because Ming Ze used his sword power barbarically.
'Yeah, I recovered faster,' replied the sword spirit, Yu'er.
