"Mother-in-law, you are back?."

Luo Yang was surprised, she was too busy watching a movie on Netflix on her phone that she didn't know what the servants were doing, and that damn stinky old butler didn't even give her a hint. The more Luo Yang thought about this, the more her hatred for the dead Lu Hua grew. Why is Lu Hua more adored than her?! She copycat Lu Hua her entire life, wearing the same dress Lu Hua wore but no matter how much she tried, she was always in the shadow of the latter. And no matter how much she tried to please the old woman, she was never as good as Lu Hua!

She inhaled a deep breath to mask her hatred and placing down her phone, her attitude changed to 100% innocence as she walked gracefully with a smile towards Old Madam Bai.

"Mother-in-law, welcome home" A big smile was plastered on her face as she moved to hug the old woman but the old woman avoided her and frowned in disgust.

"No need to come closer, you are going to make me puke"

Luo Yang's face paled slightly but soon regained its blood as she followed behind Old Madam Bai like a servant. All the arrogance from the morning had now changed into submission and docility.

She can offend anyone but definitely not the Old Madam, otherwise, she will be sent packing to her maiden home, after all, even her husband listened to the old woman's orders and didn't even dare to frown at the old woman at all.

The old woman then gracefully take a seat, not bothering to spare her a glance, but instead turned to her grandson.

"Get me a cup of water."

Bai Sheng nodded and went to the kitchen and soon return with the cup of water.

"How sweet of you, your girlfriend sure is extremely lucky," Old Madam Bai said, placing down the empty cup before her.

"Uh? Girlfriend?" Bai Sheng subconsciously asked, a bitter smile forming on his lip.

"You... Don't tell me you don't have one?" Old Madam Bai appeared shocked as she look at her grandson with wide eyes.

"I am still looking for one" Bai Sheng replied truthfully.

"You should learn from your brother, Ah Sheng, you know you are of marriageable age yet you aren't making an effort, I think it is time for you to sire an heir with your age already." Luo Yang butted in, she couldn't help but be proud of herself, Old Madam Bai would surely view this as her being concerned for the boy.

However, Old Madam Bai only sneered and asked Bai Sheng. "When do you have a brother that I didn't know about?"

Bai Sheng shook his head. "I don't have one, maybe step-mother is getting old and somehow hallucinates or imagine in her head."

"I see..." Old Madam Bai nodded with a straight face.

Luo Yang's face paled at their pricking words and she felt like cursing this old woman and her grandchild openly, but she knew she can't do that, not when her son hasn't gotten the chance to take over the company.

"So, about the girlfriend, you must be kidding right? Or how can you tell me that someone as handsome, talented, and as wealthy as you are didn't have a girlfriend." The Old woman resumed the topic.

Bai Sheng opened his mouth, ready to say something when Old Madam Bai suddenly said.

"My old friend, Feng Wu is going to have her 80th birthday in two weeks' time, but since we are friends, she told me that it was all a facade to introduce her granddaughters to the public. And her granddaughter is someone you know, you guys used to play together since young, geez, I forgot that you had lost your memory so you wouldn't remember her, but I am sure she does. Her name is Feng Xi, and she is very pretty too, and kind."

"Dammit, that damn Feng Xun didn't even inform me of anything! How dare he?!" Bai Sheng thought in anger, but soon, his anger turned to surprise as he remember what Old Madam Bai just said.

"What?! She was in my past?!"

He did indeed lose a part of his memory when he was young and was kidnapped by some people and has yet to recover it. He doesn't even feel like remembering it, but now that Feng Xi was said to be in his past, he can't wait to ask the doctor about his condition!

Old Madam Bai didn't notice this as she stood up and yawned, "I am feeling sleepy, I think I should go take a nap."

Bai Sheng hurriedly stood up to support her, even though he knew that the old woman did not need it.

The moment both grandmother and grandson left, Luo Yang whose presence was akin to her ant soars to that of a tigress as she quickly send a text to her son, telling him to come home for the birthday and at the same time welcoming banquet.

She didn't ask for him to come to please anyone, but to make the Young Miss Feng fall in love with him, after all, she was 100% sure that her son's charm is unrivaled and irresistible.
