The tension in the car was real. Yeom Tae kept trying to turn his eyes away from Haneul but she had turned her entire body around just to see him clearly, even though he was seated right next to her.
"Why didn't you ever tell me you had anxiety?" She asked, "Diagnosed one, at that." She added.
Yeom Tae cleared his throat, "What difference does it make?" He asked nonchalantly.
"I would have been more careful with my words and actions." Haneul said, "You just love making everything hard for yourself." She complained.
"You know what stops my anxiety?" Yeom Tae asked.
"What?"
"You leaving me."
Haneul scoffed, "So funny." She said with a straight face.
Yeom Tae giggled, "Sorry, bad joke."
