Melina’s Small Problem

It had been a few days since Melina received her first batch of black pearls from Ichiro, who was fighting in the war against the devil Zagor.

After Ichiro and his companions managed to lay their hands on a large supply of black pearls, they needed Melina's assistance in cleansing them and turning them into golden pearls to cure the beastkin that had turned into lesser demons.

On the first day that the crate arrived, the princess skipped her lessons so she could stay in her room, cleansing the demonic pearls.

Her roommates, Yuki and Eve, decided not to bother her as she worked, noticing how they had never seen Melina so focused on a task before.

They knew that Melina felt bored in her classes at the academy since her magical prowess put her at a level that was above the professors, so they had never seen Melina put genuine effort into something.
