"Sweetie, are you going to the Star hotel to fix up there?" I looked at Cedrick when he suddenly asked me.

"Ahm, yes, later. After I passed the boutique."

I adjust my clothes to go to my boutique job. So did Cedrick. He also dressed to enter the V-club.

"By the way, Cedrena wants to be with me at the boutique," I said to inform him.

"Sure, Rick is with me. You don't have a hard time with the two of them, Rick and I will pass you later at the hotel. Just text if you two go there. Okay?" He said.

"Okay, I'll text you when Cedrena and I are at the hotel," I answer.

He hugged me and kissed my forehead before he left our room.

As for me, I first adjusted the posture of my appearance before leaving the room. When I come to the living room, they are already waiting for me.

"Let's go, sweetie. I will take you and Cedrena to the boutique." He said with all his hands to me.

"Cedrena and I will just take a taxi later to the hotel?" I frowned at him.

"Ahm no, text me later when you go there. Kardo will accompany you."

"Alright, let's go."

I pulled Cedrena. The four of us went to the garage where the car was. The twins went first before I followed.

We arrived at my boutique safely. Cedrick and Rick left as soon as he delivered Cedrena and me at the front of my shop.

"Mommy, will Daddy and Rick pick us up here later?

I smiled and answered her. "Yes, baby. So, later remind me to text daddy when we're going to the hotel. Okay?"

She immediately nodded at me while smiling.

"Yes, mommy! Please expect me to remind you." It answered me enthusiastically. I just laughed at my son's behaviour.

We entered my office. I let Cedrena play inside while I worked.

I look straight at my phone, waiting and texting for Kirsten and Medel.

I looked at the door of my office when there was a knock from it. I was about to get up when my daughter Cedrena suddenly appeared.

"Let me do it for you, mommy!" She said, then got up quickly and instantly opened the door.

She shouted and greeted the newcomer. "Auntie Medel! Aunt Kersten!"

She jumped to hug them at the same time. I just shook my head at the scene I saw.

"How are you, baby girl? Ha? Are you following my advice?" Medel asked my daughter excitedly.

Serena stared at her the most, then whispered back from her. "I'm good, aunt. I always follow your tips." Then she winked.

I could not believe it and smiled at my daughter's behaviour.

"How about you, Aunt Kersten?"

"I'm good, baby. How are you?"

"Aunt?! Please tell her I'm okay." Kersten replied with a smile.

Medel and Kersten looked at me as well. Kersten took Cedrena by the hand and pulled her closer to my seat. The two of them followed behind Medel.

"Baby, you sit on the sofa first and sit down," I commanded her.

So she immediately complied and went to the sofa then played with her gadget.

I looked at Medel and Kersten. "You never said you would come here. I was still waiting for your text."

"I'm sorry, Ena. Medel and I planned that before you started texting." Kersten apologised to me. So Medel also joined.

"Is it true, friend... Someone sent you a treat?" Medel immediately asked me.

She took a chair and sat down in front of my desk. So Kersten followed too.

"I already said in the text, right? It took you a while to reply," I told them with difficulty.

They both laughed at me. They both sat together in the visitor's chair.

"What is it, best friend? Tell us about that." Medel is still scratching.

"Hey, please tell us, Ena. That woman won't stop you if you haven't told us yet." Kersten uttered and laughed.

I shook my head because of what she said.

"Oh, that's it! Be careful, Ena! When I see the one who texted you, I will get him bald!" Medel snarled as they walked out of my boutique.

"Can you make him bald?" Kersten asked her. That made me laugh.

"Hey! Maybe you are the one who texted my best friend, Kersten, huh?! You're just hiding!"

"You're serious! Yes, I used to be bad. But, I've changed, so I can't do that to Ena. She's so kind. Only a fool will do that to her." Kersten said seriously while looking at me intently.

I smiled at Kersten and winked at her. Medel was shocked when she saw that.

"Yes, sorry, okay? I just made a mistake. How are we?" Medel said as she spread her two hands to Kersten and me.

Kersten and I approached and hugged her tightly.

When we finally got out of the boutique, I stopped when I saw a small box at the door.

I looked there. I bent down so I could reach and look at it. A small red box. It seems like a gift for someone with a birthday.

Medel and Kersten also stopped. "What's that, Ena? A gift?" Kersten asked me in surprise.

"Ena, don't tell me you have a secret admirer? Cedrick is so corny, an old-style," Medel said playfully and lit her elbow at my side at the same time.

I ignored them. My forehead frowned in astonishment.

"It's not from Cedrick," I said in a weak voice. Even Medel and Kersten were distraught at what I said.

"Eh, if not from your loverboy hubby. Who did that and where did it come from?" Medel asked me in surprise.

"Yes, Ena... Who did that gift come from?" Kersten asked.

I looked in the small box to see if there was a letter written on it, but I did not see anything.

To: Ena Marquez-Villarruel.

That was the only thing out of the box. When I opened it, I felt a moment of nervousness and trembling of my hand. Even Medel and Kersten, waiting for the contents of that little box, were sent to me.

"Ahhh!"

"What the hell ?!"

"What's that thing ?!"

The three of us shouted at the same time when a glass bottle full of blood opened up to us. I let it go, so the glass broke, and the blood splashed on the floor outside of my boutique.

I was confused by what I saw. My whole body was shaking because of the shiver I was feeling. Even Medel and Kersten were just stunned and stared at the red stuff that spread on the floor.

When Medel and Kersten calmed down, they immediately called the cleaner- to clean that red thing.

They support me both to go inside my office.

"Mommy, what's going on?" My daughter Cedrena asked me worriedly. I just hugged her and then I started crying.

"I'll just call Cedrick," Medel said.

I just nodded in response. After a while, someone texted me on my phone.
