50th Anniversary

We arrived at the hotel immediately.  The guests greeted us.  Cedrick and I politely greeted them and the twins.

We went to Mama and Papa's place.  Mommy Federia and daddy Federilp were also there.  They immediately greeted the twins, who happily greeted them all.

"It's good that you brought the twins here. We can't shake the one sitting."  Mommy smiled.

"They want to come along, so sweetie, and I can't do anything else,"  Cedrick replied to his mother.

"It's good that you came here, Ma."  I smiled and told mama.  I looked at Mesy, and she shook me.

"My sister is a girl,"  I commented on her.  She laughed and shook.

"Sister. I just always get noticed."

We all just laughed.  Cedrick and I also sat at the table where my family and I were.

I thought of Cedrick and his son when they nursed Kida, who wanted to eat ice cream.

"Mommy, let's go there with the ice cream first," Cedrena said goodbye to me.  I immediately nodded and turned to Kida.

"Kida, you take care of the twins. Please don't leave them. Keep your eyes on them."

"Yes, ma'am. I'll take care of it."  Her answer made me smile.

They have left.  I turned to them, mama and papa.

"How are you? We have not been able to revisit you."

"Oh, daughter. We're okay. We also met here, eh." Dad replied.

"Yes, daughter. We know you and Cedrick are busy at work. So we understand if you can't go home."  Mom added.

"Oh, maybe the two of them are busy with other work."  Daddy's meaningful groin.  So we all turned our attention to him.

Mommy Federia slapped him on the shoulder.  So we all laughed.

"Stop right there, Federilo! What are you saying? You're old!"

"Hon, I'm not old yet. I'm still strong,"  Daddy replied, winking at his wife at the same time.

I just shook my head. 

"What not yet? What is that wrinkled face of yours? If you are not old yet?"

"Hon. . . Don't embarrass me. I'm your husband."  Daddy Federilo's language is soothing.

"Shut your mouth, and don't say anything. Otherwise, you will be ashamed of me."

I turned to Cedrick.  He was looking at his parents while enjoying what he was watching.

I quickly backed away when he turned to me.

"Oh, balance. Let go of your wife."  Dad suddenly replied.  So mama squeezed him in his ear.

"You! You'll still participate!"

"I don't love you anymore!"  Dad's sudden tenderness.

"Ena, let me eat there first, huh? I look out of place, eh."  Mesy whispered goodbye to me.  So I quickly nodded to her.

SHE smiled and left and went to the food counter.

I turned to Cedrick when he suddenly whispered in my ear.

"I'll go first, sweetie. When I come back, the party will start."

"Sure."  He kissed me on my forehead before he stood up and left.

"Where is your husband going?"  Suddenly they all asked me.

"Comfort room."

"Ladies and gentlemen. Thank you for coming to this event of Villuarel Club Corporation. This is all about the 50th anniversary of the V-club. So, let's all welcome the Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Cedrick Villaurel."  The announcer said at the top of the stage.

Cedrick immediately went upstairs, and the grand hall was filled with applause.  Even our son shouts his name.

"Ahem! I don't know what to say ..." He began.  So laughter filled the grand hall.  I just shook my head. 

"First of all. We will not be able to reach 50 years without my father, who lived and grew this company. So thank you very much. If it weren't for him, this V-club would not exist. So , Dad! Thank you! And of course, with Mommy's help too!" He smiled as he looked at his parents.

All the guests applauded again.

"Of course, to all of you co-chief executive officers and employees of the V-club. We will not last 50 years without your help. So thank you very much. Also, to those, my friends who supported me."  Then he turned to David and Diego.  The two raised their glasses and then smiled.

"To God, who has not forsaken me. And, of course, to my wife, who has been my inspiration. That I may have strength at work, she is always by my side and has given me two twin children."

I smiled at what he said.  He looked at me, so our eyes met.

Suddenly my heart beat faster, and butterflies flew into my stomach.

"I love you, sweetie."

I was completely shaken when he said that in front of everyone.  "I love you too, sweetie,"  I whispered in the air.

He read it while pronouncing my lips.  So he smiled at me and turned to everyone again.

"Hopefully, tonight you all enjoy the celebration we prepared for the 50th anniversary of the V-club, which my wife worked hard to arrange. So have a nice evening, everyone!" He said goodbye and got off the stage.

The grand hall was filled with applause again.  I smiled when I saw the size of his smile as he approached our son and me.

"Let's dance, sweetie." Cedrick nursed me immediately when he arrived at my place.

"We'll leave the two kids here?"  I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Of course, we'll take it to the dance. Isn't it? Babies? You dance too, right?"  He said to me and asked the two children at once, winking.

"Yes, of course. Daddy!"

"You're naughty, sweetie. You're going to reduce it, right?"  I said as we went to the dance hall.

"Why again, sweetie? What else have I done?"  He asked me, frowning, while there were mischievous smiles on his lips.

"You made me nervous again."  I blushed at him.

He laughed and stopped walking, then turned to me.

"Get used to it, sweetie. Because I'll make you excited every day."
