blood covered snow

one day I found my self running from someone more likely something. I'm running as fast as my legs can go till my foot gets caught on a root of a tree one second I'm flying and the next I'm on the cold snow covered ground. I get up and I look at my foot and it's bleeding I scrabble to get up and I start running again. If I stop running I'll die! but if I die I'm not going down without a fight. I look back and I see tons of blood covered footprints in the snow. I'm hoping that I didn't lose to much blood and that i don't die out here in the cold woods
