MWB CHAPTER 27: Confrontation

　　I already went to a lot of dates with Theo, but I still get nervous before leaving to see him.

　　Why the hell do you even get nervous, Thea? He's still the same Theo as before. He's still your best friend.

　　"Hey Axel, do you think I should say yes to Theo?" I asked without giving it much thought as I was wearing my sandals

　　I saw him pause and stare at me from my peripheral view.

　　"Why are you asking me?"

　　I couldn't read his expression. He was just wearing a poker face.

　　The scene of him saying that he likes me suddenly flashed in my mind. I wonder if that's true. I wonder if he really likes me.

　　"I just wanna know your opinion." I answered, and my mind pushed me to say more. "You did say that you like me."

　　He got flustered and gulped the lump in his throat.

　　"Why are you suddenly bringing that up?"

　　"Why haven't you brought it up?" I countered the question

　　"What are you trying to say?"

　　"What I said that night is true."
