Lucille nodded.
After a journey of more than an hour, Lucille reached the vicinity where the Weils family resided.
Just like before, the place was lined with old gray bricks and roof tiles, elegantly serene.
Following the address, Lucille and Joseph stood at the doorway of the Weils family residence.
“Knock."
After two knocks, Hendric's voice promptly came from within. "Coming!"
As the wooden door was opened, Hendric, with excitement written all over his face, greeted them, "Boss!"
“Long time no see.” Lucille tilted her head in response.
“Indeed, it's been a while!” Hendric gave way. Upon seeing Joseph following Lucille, he was momentarily stunned. Then, his eyes lit up, and with utmost reverence, he exclaimed, "Mr. Joseph! Damn, it's really you!"
Was this... that surprising?
The corner of Lucille's mouth perked up as she cast a leisure glance at Joseph. Her eyes were brimming with amusement. Was Mr. Joseph this popular?
