Chapter 1403 Excuses and Reasons

Frank could not help but smile, but this was something he absolutely could not say.

If he said it, Connor would likely drop everything and rush to Shein City to stop him.

Rather than that, it would not hurt to wait until this matter was over to tell Connor.

Frank did not say much more. After explaining what he needed to, he casually found an excuse and reason, replying, "I'm just a bit tired, I need a break."

Connor felt slightly relieved, nodding, "I see. Well, take your time and rest. Not to sound like a nagging brother, but with how exhausted you are, it's about time you took a break. Don't work like you're made of iron every single day."

Frank acknowledged with a hum. Before hanging up, he added, "Thanks, bro."

This was probably one of the rare times Frank had said "thank you" in their twenty years of friendship.

Connor laughed heartily, teasing as always, "Oh, look at that! Rare indeed! Well then, I won't be polite—no need for thanks, haha."
