Chapter 24

Ashley POV

We got to his so called 'house' and went in. It was a huge triple story house with a huge garden and a swimming pool.

"So this is your original home" l asked

"Yah it is" he said

"And it's in LA?" I said

"No it's on the moon" he said

Sarcasm l guess so l rolled my eyes and we walked in.

Two huge pit bulls ran towards us and l held Vee so tightly but to my surprise, they jumped on us and started licking our faces. It was so ticklish l couldn't hold it. I laughed so hard until they stopped and my face was all wet with dog drool

"Your face is mess" he said

"Speak for your self" l said

His face was also wet

We knocked on the door and a beautiful young lady opened, she was a bit older than me. Perhaps she was Vee's age

She had two white towels and she handed them to us without saying a word

We wiped our face and as soon as we were done, she threw her self on Vee and l felt a wave of jealousy flow in my body

She squealed so loud while hugging Vee so tight. I felt a lump in my throat and tears flowing on my cheeks

They broke the hug and Vee took a glance at me with a frown

"Ashley what's wrong, why are you crying" he said in a worried voice

"Wha….l'm…l'm crying….l l'm sorry l….l please take to your room" l stuttered and looked away

We got in and he led me to one of the rooms. It was huge.

"My ammolite, what's wrong?" He asked

"Who is she" l asked

"Ohh…you mean Zee yah am she's my half sister from my father's side. We've been best friends since, l don't know forever" he said

I felt so stupid

"Wait are you...are you being jealous right now?" He asked

"And what if l am?"l asked

"Oh my….. you're jealous" he said teasingly

"Am not" l said

"Then why were you crying?"he asked

"Because, l don't know" l said

"Ncaww you so cute when jealous" he said

"I'm not, l'm not jealous Vee please" l whined

"Ok let's go so you can meet my sister" he said and we went

"So you must be Ashley, l'm Ziphezihle" she said

We shook hands

"Gorge has told me everything about you.You're all he talks about, so tell how did you do it" she whispered

"Amm do what?" I asked

"You know turn this cold hearted corpse into a big softy" she said

"I don't know" l said

"What do you mean you don't know, l mean l read about it in those African novels, what do the call them...….The chosen ones but l didn't actually think it was real" she said

"Come on those things don't exist, have you ever see a human change in to a beast before?" I said and we laughed

Vee cleared his throat

"May l join in the humor?" He said

"It's a girl thing" Zee said

"Are you African" l asked

"Yes" she said

"No way, l'm African too" l said and we hugged a bit

"Hello" a deep voice said

"Hey, Amm this is my boyfriend Anold" Zee introduced to us

Anold and Vee did a weird guy handshake and l just stood there while Zee giggled a bit.
