Hunter

I woke up with a start. Remembering today was the day I would sign up to be a hunter. As I walked to the tower, I waved at everyone, unlike usual, because I was in a fabulous mood.

"How many floors of the dungeon do you think I will complete?" I asked. [I would say 3-4] I was pretty happy with that response because clearing three dungeons was already pretty good, but four was awesome.

Once I got in the tower, I signed my name and walked into the dungeon. The dungeon looked like a straight line was flaming hot torches on the side. I guess these people didn't know about Thomas Edison yet.

With all the monsters, I felt like I was playing a video game.

I quickly killed one F Tier beast and got a [Core] and a [Skill Book]. I quickly absorbed the core bring my [Strength] [Agility] [Stamina] up to 20. The skill was called [Earthquake]: Create an earthquake in front of you 2 feet long.

I activated [Terror] to scare the higher-tier beasts. I got myself a few F, E [Cores], and [Skills].

All my nine skills were [Ice Spikes], [Terror], [Earthquake], [Fireball], [Earth Wall], [Wind Shield], [Reaction], [Superman], [Einstein].

[Fireball]: Threw a ball of fire at your enemies.

[Earth Wall]: Make a wall made of earth rise from the ground to protect you.

[Wind Shield]: For 2 seconds, have a wind shield that will protect you from the blow and blast your enemies back.

[Reaction]: If you need more time to react, freeze time for 5 seconds getting ready to block the blow.

[Superman]: Be like Superman. Add 50 to all attributes.

[Einstein]: Make your mind process and understand things 10x the speed ordinary people can.

I was speechless. These skills were too amazing to be true. I activated [Einstein] and [Superman]. Right away, I felt my mind becoming smarter and my body getting much more power. Right now, my Rank was probably at the D rank.

I quickly defeated the last of the monsters. Then I went up to the second floor right away. I could tell this floor would be much harder than the first floor.

I had a bit of a tough fight with the D Tier, but after some fighting, I defeated it with ease because of my mana. However, I then encountered a C Tier beast. It didn't look affected by my [Terror], so it must have been a Peak C tier beast.

I first cast [Earth Wall], and after it broke through it, I casted 5 [Fireball] at him and a few [Ice Spikes]. Since [Einstein] was active, I thought of a plan fast. First, I would throw many [Fireballs] then pretend to get ready for a powerful skill. Then when he charged forward, I would cast [Reaction] then hit him with all my power multiple times with [Superman].

Then plan worked perfectly. It charged forward fast, so I casted [Reaction] fast and hit him with all my might, quickly feeling the energy and strength in my arm going down. I couldn't believe my D rank defeating a peak c rank was something few people have ever done before.

I absorbed the [Core] and it added 20 to all my attributes. The [Skill] it dropped was [Volcanic]: Create a miniature volcano 5 meters wide when cast + Fire Resistance 5%

That was amazing 5% of fire resistance when casting it! This was a C Rank skill!!
