The trio of Klauss, Maria, and Roger hadn't gathered in what felt like an eternity; this unexpected reunion marked the first time they had all come together after a prolonged hiatus.

The rift between Klauss and Roger lingered from their past disagreement over Klauss concealing his true strength and rank. A lie that made Roger question their relationship with Klauss.

Their last conversation had been a heated exchange, leaving a lingering tension in the air.

As for Klauss and Maria, their last encounter had been a chilly night where Klauss, in a cold and abrupt manner, terminated their relationship. Since that fateful night, Klauss had distanced himself from any interaction with them.

In the interim, everyone had drifted in separate directions, with Maria and Roger continuing to collaborate, which bore fruit to the establishment of the Wakers Guild, despite the personal fractures that had formed between these longtime friends.

The group huddled in a corner of the lobby, positioned not too distant from the elevator, where a spontaneous conversation unfolded.

Maria, brimming with joy at the sight of Klauss, eagerly initiated the dialogue: "Klauss, how have you been? Um, I heard you won your duel. I'm glad, really glad."

The eyes of the Wakers Guild members widened in sheer disbelief at Maria's revelation. Cyrus, Verily, and Daemyn were completely unaware that the whispers circulating about a super rookie toppling a seasoned veteran were now in direct conversation with their leaders.

After a moment of scrutinizing observation, they recognized the tall figure with white hair and a strikingly handsome face as the rumored protagonist.

"It's him," Daemyn innocently whispered to the others. Veliry swiftly intervened, placing her hand over Daemyn's mouth, cautioning, "Shhh!! We know it's him."

She continued with a fervent excitement, "I can't believe our leader knows the infamous super rookie. Amazing!".

Caught off guard by the unexpected reactions of her guild members, Maria took it upon herself to break the ice and introduce Klauss, who remained silent with a stern expression that sent a subtle wave of intimidation through the group.

Trying to dispel any tension, Maria reassured them, saying, "Don't mind his silly expression. This is Klauss, our childhood friend, and recently, my ex. Klauss, these are the founding members of our guild, Cyrus, Verily, and Daemyn."

As Maria blushed during the introductions, Klauss turned to regard them, maintaining his usual icy demeanor. The guild members, however, were left utterly dumbfounded by this unexpected revelation.

Verily clutched tightly onto Daemyn in disbelief, while Cyrus, struggling to find words, stammered, "You two were, um, a th-thing? As in, a couple?"

The innocence of the guild members rendered them unable to fathom the situation. Not only did the leaders know Klauss, but to their astonishment, Maria, their vice-leader, had been in a relationship with him.

The news was particularly shocking because, up until then, they had assumed that Maria and Roger were an item, given their seemingly close relationship. The unexpected turn of events left the guild members jaw-dropped, processing the newfound dynamics within their leadership.

Behind the group, Roger's demeanor starkly contrasted with his usual cheery and happy self. The sight of Klauss visibly bothered him, and the admiration of his guild members for Klauss only served to further irk him.

Abruptly jumping into the conversation, Roger briskly remarked, "Aish, why did you have to mention that? Yes, yes, it's him, the super rookie Klauss. Big deal! He's someone who you shouldn't listen to, guys; he's very selfish!"

Roger's frustration or perhaps jealousy was palpable, evident to all onlookers, until Klauss finally broke his silence. "Very classy of you, Guildmaster," Klauss retorted and said sarcastically in his deep, cold tone.

"She only told the truth, though." Roger responded with a cold and threatening glare, which Klauss met with an even more imposing one.

"That's enough, you two! Can't you behave for once?" Maria intervened, stepping between the simmering tension.

Her attempt to diffuse the escalating conflict hung in the air, leaving a palpable tension as the trio of leaders navigated the complexities of their past and present dynamics.

Returning from their tour of the association, Aisha and Cassius leisurely strolled through the lobby until they caught sight of Klauss, surrounded by a group of unfamiliar faces.

Aisha couldn't help but tease Cassius, remarking, "Where did Klauss go this time? He really is a handful, more than you, Cassius," accompanied by a playful smile directed at the young boy.

Cassius, however, seemed to have a knack for locating Klauss. "Wait, I think I can sense him over there, in that corner, but he is not alone," he confidently stated, showcasing the results of his developing abilities.

Aisha, intrigued by the unfolding scenario, urged, "Wait, what? What is happening over there? Come on, Cassius," prompting them both to quicken their pace as they hurried toward the corner where Klauss was engrossed in conversation with the unfamiliar group.

As Aisha and Cassius approached the corner, they couldn't help but notice the intensity of the conversation surrounding Klauss. The unfamiliar faces seemed both intrigued and captivated by the enigmatic figure in their midst.

"What's going on here?" Aisha inquired with curiosity, her eyes scanning the group surrounding Klauss.

Cassius, ever observant, chimed in, "It seems like Klauss is causing a stir and it looks like things might be getting a bit tense."

They reached the edge of the gathering, where Maria, Roger, and the Wakers Guild members were in the midst of an animated exchange with Klauss. Aisha assessed the situation, sensing an undercurrent of unresolved tension.

"Hey, Klauss," Aisha greeted, attempting to inject a bit of levity into the atmosphere. "Are you causing trouble again, or is this just a regular day for you?"

Klauss, maintaining his stoic demeanor, responded, "Just stay out of it"

Aisha chuckled, trying to diffuse the tension. "Well, you do have a talent for attracting attention. What's the gossip here?"

Before Klauss could respond, Roger interjected with a sharp tone, "It's nothing. Just old history resurfacing. Nothing for you to be concerned about. And who might you be and is that your kid?"

Aisha raised an eyebrow, glancing between the leaders. "Old history, huh? Well, if it involves Klauss, it's bound to be interesting. Oh and I'm Aisha, Klauss's personal assistant and this right here next to me is Cassius, say hi"

The tension in the group escalated as Maria, feeling threatened by Aisha's presence, couldn't help but let her insecurities surface.

Aisha, with her blonde hair and cheerful demeanor, appeared to be more than just an assistant to Klauss, and that fact seemed to unsettle Maria.

Roger, unable to conceal his jealousy, shook his head and remarked, "Wow, on top of everything, you have an assistant. Good for you, I mean really."

Maria, her eyes fixed on Aisha, couldn't contain her curiosity and internal jealousy. She questioned, "What is your relationship with Klauss? Are you only an assistant? Hmm?" Her gaze shifted from Aisha to Cassius and then back to Aisha, until she gasped, "Don't tell me, you and him equal him? No way !"

The group struggled to make sense of Maria's words until Daemyn, wise beyond his years, interjected, "I think what she's trying to say is, maybe Klauss and Aisha are together, and Cassius is their kid. Yes, that must be it."

The revelation hung in the air, causing a momentary silence. Aisha, caught off guard, exchanged glances with Klauss, who remained stoic as ever. Cassius, on the other hand, seemed to find the situation amusing, a mischievous smile playing on his lips.

Aisha finally broke the silence, bursting into laughter. "Oh, Maria, you've got quite the imagination! Cassius is not our kid; he's just a talented young one. Right, Cassius?"

Cassius nodded with a playful grin, enjoying the unexpected turn of events. Aisha continued, "And as for Klauss and me, well, I'll let you ponder on that one", she said, grinning at her playful words and winking at Klauss.

The tension eased a bit as the group, initially on edge, started to chuckle at the comical misunderstanding, leaving Maria slightly embarrassed by her assumptions.

As the laughter subsided, the lobby regained a more relaxed atmosphere, and the group continued their conversation, now laced with a shared sense of amusement.

Maria, still grappling with her suspicions, attempted to cool down the situation, she redirected her attention to Cassius, bending down with a friendly smile. "Hey there, I'm Maria. Where are your parents?"

Cassius, maintaining his silent demeanor, casually pointed at Klauss, once again leaving the group in shock.

The atmosphere became tense, and Aisha, finding the situation amusing, burst into laughter. "Haha, oh sorry. That was too funny. I mean, look at Klauss, can he take care of someone? Haha. I have a better chance at being a parent, but yeah, he's the father."

The place fell silent once more, and Aisha, unable to contain her amusement, burst into laughter again. "My God, you guys are so cute. Okay, enough jokes. Klauss is Cassius's legal guardian; some things happened, and voila."

Aisha's brief explanation hung in the air, leaving the group in stunned silence. Maria, trying to play along, managed a forced chuckle. "Ahh, I see. Ha-ha," she said as she stood up.

Klauss, finally breaking his silence, took control of the situation. "Okay, that's enough. I have things to take care of. Guys, it was pleasant seeing you. Let's try not to bump into each other. Aisha, let's go." With Cassius trailing behind, Klauss walked away.

Aisha, stopped by Maria, exchanged a knowing look. Maria, realizing the need for a more private conversation, gestured for them to talk aside. After a brief introduction, clarifying who they were in relation to Klauss, Aisha let out a simple smile.

"Oh, I see. But Klauss has never mentioned you guys before. Anyway, he does have a lot of secrets. Klauss, at this moment, is dealing with a lot, but I'll try and arrange something so you guys can discuss and catch up. Don't get your hopes up, though!"

Aisha's words carried a mix of reassurance and caution as she left the group.

Maria was left with a glimmer of hope, the possibility of seeing Klauss again lingering in her thoughts. Roger, however, didn't seem too pleased with the prospect.

The members of the Wakers Guild dispersed to attend to their initial business at the association, all the while discussing the unexpected encounter with Klauss and the revelation that Maria and Roger had a personal connection with him. The news rippled through the guild, creating a buzz of excitement and curiosity among its members.

As the lobby returned to its usual hustle and bustle, Maria couldn't shake the anticipation of a potential reunion with Klauss. The air was charged with a mix of unresolved history, unspoken feelings, and the promise of a meeting that could bring about a closure or perhaps a new chapter in their intertwined stories.
