Marigold wondered why her parents had a gloomy expression upon meeting her. She also looked for her younger sister, Cheche to ask what's wrong with her parents at that time. But unfortunately, Cheche isn't around. Maybe she got back to the botanical garden to gather pictures of different plants since plants got her interest.
"Ma, why are you like that? Has anything bad happened here? Look at you, you're so sad and unenthusiastic," Marigold noticed, tapping her mother's shoulder while her mother was busy packing their belongings.
"And you're already packing your belongings—what does it mean? Our departure from this place is supposed to be in the next two days but not today," she added after noticing further strange details about her parents.
"We don't have a place here. We don't need to try hard to get close to that elitist family," Mrs. Cruz bemoaned, not even looking at her own daughter.
"Can you please tell me what happened while I'm away with Raymart?"
