The silence in the room was something unbearable for them, Liam hearing his name being mentioned by the police officers had him shocked enough to remain frozen on his spot. He couldn't think of anything, while Mary was panicking within at the sight of the officers and her brother standing along with them.
Ethan gulps getting confused and bewildered with what he heard, more probably hearing the women whom he had against his hold being accused of murdering his mother had him dazed. He snaps his gaze at Mary who was busy waking at the sight before her, Ethan tightens his hold against her with red eyes.
