CHAPTER 11. Bewitched by them
Giselle’s POV:
“What is your story, Riven?” I turned towards Riven and asked.
“What is the reason behind your actions?” I asked curiously while looking directly into his eyes.
“Nothing, really. I also didn’t hate you and you were always attractive to me, but I disliked the fact that our father told you that you could compete with us to become the Luna of our pack. We worked hard our whole life to get this position and he just offered you like it was nothing. That’s why I was always rude to you”, Riven spoke in all honesty.
There was no hurt, regret or remorse in his tone, not hurt at all, but his eyes showed a hint of sorrow which didn’t get unnoticed by either of us.
“WHAT?” I shouted, baffled.
“Yeah, it is true. I had a fight with our father about this too. I regret hurting you, but everything I did was intentional. Look at the slap on my face, you are going to become the Luna of our pack by hook or by crook”, He said with a humorless laugh and continued,
