With the endless maze of jungles ahead of them, the group decided to venture out and try their luck. Jack and Bang both agreed that it would be safer for them to get out of the fortress in fear of guards catching them again.
Although the forest was filled with mysterious creatures which posed a threat to them, it was still a test of luck. If they stayed in the dungeons, it would be a guaranteed death for all of them.
Bang knew that once Bodt reinforcements find out that they had killed him, they would never let Bang go alive. This was the most rational answer they could come up with.
The group ventured out one step at a time in a random direction. Being lost in the woods is not that big of a deal because they had the survival skills to keep themselves safe.
