'System? What do each of the different attributes affect?' Jordan asked the system internally.
[In short, the strength attribute increases your body's overall strength, muscles, bones, and organs included. This can affect your speed and how well your body handles damage when you are in a fight.
The endurance attribute increases your stamina for example, how long you can carry out strenuous activities like running, swimming, or even holding your breath.
The dexterity attribute is a very simplistic one, it increases your mobility, reflex, and reaction speed. This stat goes hand in hand with your strength and your perception stat.
After all, even if you perceive a threat, if you are too slow to react or your reflexes are not up to speed what would be the point?
The intelligence attribute increases your memory capacity and your ability to process and retain information. The perception attribute increases your range of perception by heightening your five senses. This attribute also directly influences MP stat.
The vitality attribute affects your ability to take damage and increases how long you can survive with grievous injuries. This attribute also directly influences HP stat.
The charm stat also known as the charisma attribute is an external attribute that assists in influencing others to warm up to you much more quickly than usual and helps in gaining the favor of others.
Limited to species with some form of intelligence.] The system slowly explained to Jordan the purpose of each attribute.
'Oh, okay. In that case, could you add 2 points to strength, 1 point to dexterity, 4 points to perception,1 point to vitality, 10 points to intelligence, and the remainder to charm for me please' Jordan asked the system internally.
[Not a problem] The system's mature feminine voice sounded off in his mind.

Jordan looked at his attributes and smiled as he clenched his fists feeling happy about his system. He wondered if there would come a time when he would be unable to get stronger through the system, but he decided he was very far away from that point.
Jordan looked around himself and resumed heading in his original direction before the fight. As he walked he began questioning the system once again.
'System what happened to my rock and what is the artifact that kept getting mentioned.'
[That seemingly abnormally shaped rock appears to have been a fragment of an artifact called the Dragon Slayer Sword. Artifacts are powerful relics that arm their holder with mysterious and wondrous power, some being ancient and unfathomable in terms of power.] the system explained.
'So if I fully acquire all the parts I will attain a different power aside from the system's rewards?' Jordan asked excitedly at the prospect.
[Essentially, yes.] the system replied.
Jordan shivered as he could not wait to find the other missing parts.
Eventually, the night began to fall, and Jordan was beginning to have a tough time maneuvering through the environment even with his heightened senses, so he searched for someplace to take cover for the night before he resumed his journey at sunrise.
Just like that another 3 days passed uneventfully and Jordan was feeling famished and dehydrated. However, to his delight, he could finally see the end of the forest.
Jordan dragged his body along swiftly while thinking about what he would do when he found another human....if he found another human all to take his mind off of his hunger and thirst.
As Jordan approached the end of the forest a bright light shone in his eyes from up ahead. He squinted his eyes as he crossed the boundary of the last giant blue and yellow trees.
When he opened his eyes again what greeted him was a giant rushing river with water so clear it sparkled on the surface, surrounded by bountiful trees filled with fruits. Jordan ran forward and began to drink the water from the river.
Jordan was amazed at how refreshing the water tasted. He went to the nearest tree, which was surprisingly small compared to the giant trees only 40 feet away. The trunk of these trees was like crystals with ruby branches.
The fruits that hung on these branches were shaped like bananas with pink skin. Jordan peeled one of the fruits and bit into it. His eyes widened and he began to chew swiftly before swallowing and taking another bite.
The skin of the fruit was rubbery, but once peeled it released a sweet succulent aroma and tasted just as good as it smelt. Jordan ate another five fruits before taking a bath in the river and finding someplace to settle.
He decided he would stay here for the day and leave the following day. Jordan got relaxed and began to think about everything that had occurred in the past week.
