Isn't this world so cruel?!
" Attention everyone. Thi-" General elder, Quan Li was admist of saying something but was interuppted by someone. " Sorry, Sir we are late." Said Feng Mian while panting. After a while Ling Shenmi also arrived panting as well.
Quan Li's face darkened. He shouted " This is not your home. This is training ground. And you are training to be a detective. You should always be in exact time. How can you be a professional detective being lazy and irresponsible like this? You two meet me after this meeting."
Feng Mian and Ling Shenmi lowered their head and shouted " We understood, Sir." Quan Li looked them for a while before looking at others. " I was telling that This is the last month of your training. At last you will be evaluated in various exams and according to the marks , you will be sent to various missions to gain experience.After you have gained enough experience, you will be officially promoted to be a detective."
" Is my words clear to you?" Quan Li shouted emittating superior aura. Everyone nodded their heads and shouted in unison " Yes, Sir". "Does anyone have a question?" He asked.
Many of the trainees raised their hands and asked about the date of exam, rules and regulation, various departments, the type of mission and many necessary information. When everyone was busy asking question, Feng Mian poked Ling Shenmi silently.
" Hey, Can I ask about the salary?" She softly asked. Black lines occured in Ling Shenmi's head. She smiled " Well, If you want to try asking that right now, you can do. But just don't drag me into it." Ling Shenmi took few steps forward to distance herself from Feng Mian.
Feng Mian hesitated. After a while she shook the idea of asking such question at this time. After finishing answering lots of questions, Quan Li asked " Okay, So Anymore questions?..If not then I wi-"
Before he could finish his sentence , He heard "I have". He looked at the source of voice to see Ling Shenmi raising her hand. " Please do" He said. " Sir, You said After examination, we will be sent to perform various mission according to our marks to gain experience , right?" Ling Shenmi asked.
Quan Li nodded his head " Yes" . Ling Shenmi continued " Then, how much time is required to gain the experience to become a detective? In other words, How much year of experience is needed?"
Quan Li said " That depends on your performance and your dedication towards your work. If you are bad in dealing with those things then, It might take you 5 to 7 years of experience. But If you are good enough, 4 or 5 years are sufficient."
Ling Shenmi processed the words in her mind slowly. ' If i perform bad then it will take at least 5 to 7 years..That's too long, i want to be detective and want to bring justice to my parents as soon as possible.' While she was in daze, Quan Li kept calling her name " Miss. Ling" .
The trainee beside Ling Shenmi patted her which brought her back to her senses. " Miss Ling" Quan Li once again called out her name. " Yes" Ling Shenmi said. " Don't get easily distracted. If there is no any question, then I am off" QuanLi said as he turned to leave but he stopped and once again turned around.
He looked at Ling Shenmi and Feng Mian " You two, follow me ." Then, he turned and left. Feng Mian swallowed hard. She approached Ling Shenmi and said " Should we get a big punishment just for coming 2 minutes late? Isn't this world so cruel? Shenshen, I guess they will just throw us out..Huhu"
Ling Shenmi looked at Feng Mian and sighed " Xiao Mian, If we don't hurry , maybe your words will become true soon." Then they hurriedly followed Quan Li towards his office.
