Sasha lowered her face and calmed her emotions. After a while, she reached out to grab Tom's sleeve in an attempt to cheer him up. "Sorry, I was being impulsive. Please don't be mad at me. I promise I won't do it again!"

Even though Tom knew Sasha's words could not be trusted, his heart was still shaken by her pleading gaze. Maybe Tom had fallen so deeply that he could no longer be saved. Those simple words calmed his anger in an instant.
