With a huge smile on her face, she walked out of the small restaurant, hugging her belongings to her chest. Her stomach bulged slightly from all the food that she had just scraped off the plates. Her heart was filled to the brim with satisfaction. Compared to what she had at the restaurant, the meals at the general's mansion seemed bland.
But that was mostly because she hadn't had any meat from the last few days, owing to the fact that she had been demoted to tending the garden. Those favored by the masters ate scrumptious meals every day. Thankfully, the restaurants in D4 cooked way better meat. The batter-fried delicacies tossed into delicious gravy tasted great with flavored rice. She never knew that food could taste so good.
