There are many missions like that which are mainly based on resource collecting. Those resources can be based on many plants and other things present in the danger zone or it can be directly related to those monsters.
Naturally, you need to select those missions based on your capability. In future both Aryan and Veena naturally needed to accept missions like this to get merit points.
Merit points are just not only for buying materials from the library but everything inside the Academy is based on the merit points.
