64 My ambition is too small

If there was something great about Kyoto, it was that there weren't many people inside the train even though it was a weekday, which was different from Tokyo, where the people were packed like sardines.

Or maybe their luck was good?

Either way, they sat next to each other, and it was quite comfortable on the train as there weren't many people.

"Just sleep. You don't need to stay awake all the time. Our trip is about 20 minutes. You can take this chance to rest."

"Okay."

Akatsuki accepted his offer and slept by leaning on his arm since she was so sleepy. Nevertheless, before she closed her eyes, she glanced at him, thinking that he was really strong, and she understood why Yume always boasted about his physical ability.

However, when he saw her sleeping soundly on his arm, he sighed in relief, and at the same time, he had to say her scent was memorable. Still, when she slept, it also gave him a chance to check his system.

[Congratulations, you have reached Level 50!]

[Be the best real estate developer in the world and create a worldwide landmark!]

While he was speechless at how fast it was for him to level up, there was also another important thing.

[As you have reached a maximum level, you can choose your 5th job.]

Yet, when he thought about how he had taken down Akatsuki's first time, somehow, it felt normal. Still, due to this, all the skills in his "Real Estate Developer" job were maxed, and he could choose another job. However, this also led him to another question.

What kind of job should he take next?

When he thought about it, most of his jobs were focused on the development of his business, even if he didn't have much business.

Even though he was a "Real estate developer," all of his property assets were just one office building and some parking lots. It was kind of lonely somehow. What about high-rise buildings? He felt there wasn't much difference between an office building and a high-rise building as they were mostly used as office leasing.

Moreover, besides those things, he only bought stocks and cryptocurrency and also made an FX trade; at least, for now, he needs to determine which direction he wants to develop.

'What direction do I want?'

As he had become a real estate developer, his direction should be on building a house or an apartment. However, as he had said before, it was too troublesome. As for leasing? There wasn't much money from it, and it was, at best, used for a diversity of his investments. Instead, he might as well focus on the financial market as it made so much money.

Still, at the moment, he also understood there were many things that were related to a real estate business, such as a hotel, a retail store, a movie theater, a theme park, and many other things. In Kyoto, there was even a temple and a shrine.

However, it was also because of this that he felt he couldn't choose a job that only focused on one industry. Instead, he should first choose a job that could help him with the development of the industries that he chose in the future.

The "Merchant" gave him the ability to buy and get so much money without worrying.

The "Real Estate Developer" gave him the ability to create the best building and develop a business from a property.

Yet, there was one big problem: he was a student, and he didn't want to spend all of his time on his business. While the "Brainwashing" skill would be able to make his subordinates entirely loyal and wouldn't harm him, it didn't mean that their abilities would improve, and he still needed to give them instructions manually, which was quite troublesome. Moreover, it wouldn't be too late for him to focus on the real estate industry when he graduated from high school.

Frankly, there was no need for him to live a troublesome life creating his own business kingdom, especially when he didn't lack money. Instead, he might as well develop his physical ability, protection, and anything that helped him to keep his life in case he was stabbed by a kitchen knife in the future.

If he didn't choose those jobs that were connected to his survival, he could also choose a job that helped him develop his interests and hobbies. Unfortunately, he didn't have such a thing now, and his interest was to create power so he could live well.

As for his survival?

Mizuto believed that as long as he was only stabbed once, he could still stay alive. He had heard that there was also news about a guy who dated a "yandere" girlfriend, stabbed, yet he was still alive.

Hearing that news, Mizuto felt that he gained confidence. Unlike the man, who had a weak body as it was spent on a woman and alcohol, his body was great, so even if he was stabbed, he didn't think he would die.

So, his focus had always been a job that would help him to create his power. After all, he had money and a woman, so the only thing he lacked was power; so he thought of a business, especially those that hired so many people.

The number of people he hired was why he chose a real industry, an industry with a shape.

While the money might not be as much as those industries with technology and the internet, which was booming currently, it was troublesome to manage, and every day, it needed to be updated, so their competitors were unable to do anything. Moreover, while it was a bit embarrassing, he didn't know much about it.

If he wanted to enter some industries, he wanted to know the ins and outs of those businesses.

Moreover, his philosophy in business had always been easy and simple.

Instead of entering the internet or technology without understanding anything, he might as well just put his money into gaining a seat of major shareholders, which was more comfortable and easy.

So, then, what kind of job should he choose?

He checked the lists of the jobs that were presented to him, and as expected, he was quite helpless as the numbers were too much. Still, somehow, his eyes were attracted to this one job that made him strange.

'Businessman?'

He had chosen the "Merchant" in the beginning, and then there was a "Businessman."

What was the difference between those two?

Naturally, those two were different.

However, what if this job wasn't good for him?

If so, then it didn't matter, as he had confidence that he could level up further, especially when he thought about his plan tonight.

So, with that decision—

[Congratulations, you have chosen the "Businessman" as your 5th job.]

[Own everything, from maggots to taxed thinking.]

[Everything is yours.]

[Be the best businessman in the world.]

"....."

How ominous.

Still, with that choice, his expression was surprised when he saw the skills from this job, thinking that his ambition was still small, considering it was possible for him to own this entire universe. However, one thing is for sure: it was the correct choice to choose this job.

Calming his mind, he saw that they had arrived at their destination, so he needed to wake up Akatsuki.

"Akatsuki, wake up."

Being shaken softly, Akatsuki's eyes also trembled before she opened her eyes sleepily. She rubbed her eyes and then asked, "Have we arrived?"

"Yeah, let's go."

"Um."

The two walked out of the station and walked to the school together. Still, unlike him, who was calm, Akatsuki was a bit nervous, like a thief who had stolen an important treasure.

"What's wrong with you?"

"I feel guilty somehow."

"Why?"

"I am not sure, but I feel like I might become the enemy of the entire school if they know what I have done to you."

"Well, you did leave a lot of bite marks on me."

"...won't it cause you trouble?"

"...."

"Sorry."

"It's okay, but be careful next time."

"Um."

Akatsuki smiled and leaned toward him, but then her body was tense when she heard someone call his name.

"Irido-kun?"

---

I'm sorry.
