Chapter XLVII: Questions, Questions.

Last Time.

Impulse sighed before walking away. "Okay, I'm going to bed then."

Once Impulse was out of sight, Grifter walked up to Naruto E. and the two walked out of earshot of the others in the main hall. "Alright. So we've set ourselves up in this time. Now, do you still think you'll be able to pull off your plan to save the traitor?" Grifter asked, a bit of anger in his voice at the word, "traitor".

"Yes, I do. But until the other one comes to Earth, we all keep our mouths shut. Especially you. At least where your parents' identities are concerned." Naruto answered. Grifter stiffened a bit at the mention of his parents. Naruto E. then placed a hand on his shoulder. "What I mean is, right now, no one knows who your father is. Believe me, that's sensitive info, especially for everyone connected to that particular family," he said as he motioned towards Nightwing and Robin.

Grifter nodded in agreement. "So, we stick to the plan. Deal?" Naruto E. asked as he held out his metallic hand. Grifter takes it, but then pulls Naruto E. closer so that they're face to face.

"Fine. But know this now, old man. If your plan doesn't work, then I will kill the traitor. Slowly." he answered before walking away as Naruto E. could only let out a very tired sigh.

Now.

Gotham City; Naruto's Penthouse, March 1, 07:00 EST.

Naruto sat on the couch as Zatanna in black pants and a red shirt looked at him hands on her hips. "You went to see him?!"

Naruto shrugged at that. "Yeah! I thought he could help! Dr. Fate was on a mission at the time."

Zatanna looked at a card she had in her hand. "'John Constantine: Exorcist. Demonologist. And master of the dark arts'?!" Naruto raised his hands at that.

"He's getting new ones made!"

(Flashback)

Georgia; Atlanta, February 20, 13:02 EST.

Naruto drove a black '70 Plymouth down a dirt road.

He's wearing a burnt orange shirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers with an orange strip on the sides.

"Where are we going?"

Naruto looked to see Barbara sitting beside him. "To see a friend about the Hieroglyphs your team found in that cave. Fate's away on a mission or we would have gone to him first."

After traveling for several miles, they came to a small millhouse in the woods. "This is it?" Barbara asked as Naruto nodded as he rests his arm on the door as the window was down.

Barbara gasped as a combat shotgun was pointed at Naruto's head. "Hey, Chas," Naruto said looking at the man who moved the shotgun away.

Chas is a tall man with brown hair and a beard. He's wearing a plaid button shirt over a black one and jeans with hiking boots.

"Naruto? What are you doing here?"

Naruto got out of the car and looked at Chas. "We need to talk to John. See if he can help us with something."

Barbara got out and followed them inside the millhouse. Once she got inside, the house seemed to expand and take the appearance of a rustic cabin. She heard yelling before looking down at the lower floor. "Oh, my God!"

She covered her eyes as a man with short blonde hair, and five 'o'clock stubble was dancing nude inside a white circle covered in what looked like blood.

"I don't wanna know," Naruto said to Chas who shrugged.

"He's learning a new spell."

Naruto pinched the bridge of his nose at that. "OK, I thought he was just going insane."

Barbara smacked Naruto's arm. "Why didn't you warn me?!" Naruto rubbed his shoulder at that.

"Well, obviously I didn't know! Do you think I would have let you see that? I wouldn't allow my future wife's eyes to be tarnished."

She took a deep breath at that as she narrowed her eyes. "I really, really hate Dick."

Chas walked to the stairs before speaking. "Come on. I'll give you the penny tour." They walked down the stairs and looked at the dusty books and artifacts. "The mill belonged to an old friend. He called it a supernatural safe house. Most of the stuff in here's too dangerous to fall in the wrong hand." They looked around before Barbara spoke.

"Doesn't seem this big on the outside."

Chas nodded at that. "That's because it's not. I've measured the rooms. Sometimes it's off a few inches. Sometimes it's more."

They continued walking before Barbara spoke. "That doesn't make any sense." Chas looked at her before unlocking a backward 'D' shaped door.

"If you're looking for 'sense'. You've stumbled down the wrong rabbit hole, Luv." He opened the door and showed an endless hall.

"Wow," Naruto said before someone spoke up beside him with an English accent.

"Easy, mate."

Naruto looked to his right and saw John leaning against the open door. "Even I'm not ready for that one." He closed the door and looked at them. "I think what Chas meant is, um... Don't go wandering off without a chaperon, alright?" He asked before looking at Naruto. "What can I do for you?" Naruto's eyebrow twitched before he answered.

"Oh, it's always been a dream of mine to spend the day with a naked Englishman covered in blood. Seriously, put some clothes on!"

Later, John was dressed in a white button shirt, a black tie that was pulled down slightly, and black pants.

He looked at the pictures before looking up. "This is where Dan found that Scarab, right?" Naruto nodded before John continued. "Well, the writing's a little small in the picture, but I think it's a... Cleansing spell. I would help, but I've got bigger problems at the moment. Get Zatanna or Xanadu to do it."

(Flashback End.)

"So he helped!"

Zatanna pinched the bridge of her nose at that. "Yeah, by leaving it to me and Xanadu!" She turned to walk away having Naruto groan as he stared at her.

"You in trouble?"

Naruto looked to see Kurama walk in. "No, Zatanna's either wearing a thong or nothing at all as there aren't any panty lines on the pants."

Mount Justice March 1, 09:23 EST.

"I want proof," Jade said as she looked at her future husband with the others.

Naruto brought his wives to Mount Justice as his older self refused to go to his home. "(Sigh) Our honeymoon involved four clones and me." Naruto E. answered getting Jade to blush. "You asked." Naruto E. said as Naruto sighed before speaking.

"Okay, you all saw 'me' so let's get on with our day."

Later, Naruto was feeding Quentin before glancing up at the wall. He saw a picture from when Scarecrow attacked Gotham of the Team cleaning up the streets of remaining thugs.

(Flashback.)

(A/N: Since almost a month goes by for the timeline, this flashback won't be in italics.)

Gotham, Miagani Island, October 31, 19:15 EDT.

Kage dropped down beside a crashed armored car as Batman glided down after taking care of the tanks on the island. "Troia's car. Somehow, they must have moved on." Naruto said as he stood up.

"We should examine the vehicle more closely," Batman said as his lens came over his eye holes.

Naruto scans the car and a hologram showing the car crashing into the barrier played. "Driver wasn't wearing his seatbelt," Batman said as Naruto saw the windshield had a hole in it. Walking ahead, Naruto found the dead driver with a bag over his head.

"Donna must have done that."

Naruto saw Batman go to the dock beside them and saw a bent door. Going back, he scanned the passenger side and showed Troia jumping out onto a crate, piercing her shoulder with a piece of wood as the car crashed. Walking to the broken crate, they scanned and saw her slowly walking away before dropping something and getting hit with a dart.

Looking back, they saw a woman in a black body suit, red utility belt, two katanas on her back in an 'X', and a helmet covering her head with a blue visor showing white for her eyes before a picture of the island came up in the corner. (1.)

She picked up Troia before going to the street and disappearing. "I got something." Naruto looked to see Batman pick up an SD card.

Putting it on his arm gauntlet. He typed on the holo keyboard having Naruto do the same as Miss Martian came up on the screen.

Lucius Fox came up on Batman's to decode the card as Miss Martian spoke. "How's Jade?"

Naruto shrugged at that. "Good. I've got clones at the Riddler's Puzzle and race entrances so when the islands open up, they'll do them, and the ones I left at the Orphanage to help her and Selina."

"OK, by the way, Deacon Blackfire was seen on a boat going to the Lady of Gotham." Naruto nodded Before running off.

"I'll be right back!" Naruto ran up a hospital wall and came to the roof.

"SCREECH!"

A large human/bat hybrid came over the edge and screeched in Naruto's face.

"AAAHHHH!"

Naruto yelled falling, hitting several scaffolds on his way. "What the hell is that?!"

Naruto held his chest as he panted before looking at Batman. He looked up as the creature flew around. "Bat, man. No, wait, Man-Bat! Yeah, that's better." Naruto got up showing scratches on his costume and dusted himself off.

"I need a sample of its blood."

Naruto nodded before taking an empty vial and the Explosive Gel Gun. "I got it." Naruto ran up and jumped high in the air before landing on the Man-Bat's back. "Ew!" Naruto yelled before putting a sleeper hold on the creature. They fell to the ground as Naruto got a sample of the creature's blood in the vial.

The Man-Bat pushed Naruto off and screeched before flying away. "Here you go," Naruto said giving Batman the gun. "I'm going to go see if I can get Blackfire. If that, or what you're doing takes too long we'll meet up at Wayne Tower." Batman nodded before grappling away.

Naruto ran up a building and continued to the Lady of Gotham statue in the bay.

Once he got there, he saw a man in an electric cage with a tied-up Jack Ryder.

The man is balding and has a grey beard 'preaching' to a group of men.

Naruto jumped down and threw several kunai to the electric walls. The men tried to attack, only for ninja wire to shine, and shocked them into unconsciousness. Naruto looked up to Blackfire who picked up a dagger before shooting an arrow at generators underneath him, shutting off the power.

Naruto burst through the cage and pushed Blackfire against the wall. "I've faced death more times than you can imagine, boy! I'll still be here when you're dead and gone, Kage. Gotham will be mine." Naruto tied Deacon Blackfire up before the Bio-Ship flew to them.

It took them to the top of the G.C.P.D. building as Aaron and a group of officers took Deacon Blackfire to the elevator. "Stepping into my church now, Deacon," Aaron said before Deacon looked to Naruto.

"Look around you, Kage. Look at what you seek to protect. Gotham is fallen. Why are you still fighting? It's over."

Naruto rolled his eyes as the elevator closed before going to the Bio-Ship.

Gotham; Miagani Island October 31, 19:25 EDT.

The Bio-Ship flew to Wayne Tower and dropped down on the roof. He went to the railing and drop down to a balcony just as Batman grappled up.

"Our Man-Bat is a Dr. Kirk Langstrom. He was testing a means to cure deafness by putting animal D.N.A. into the human genome. More specifically, he used vampire bat D.N.A. on himself. He went out of control and killed his wife while getting out of his lab. Here's the antidote for him. We'll need to inject him twice to fully cure him."

Naruto nodded as he took a capped-off syringe with a blue liquid in it. Batman typed on his gauntlet and had the shields over the door open and show his office with Lucius Fox inside. "Nice of you to drop in, Mister Wayne. Mister Uzumaki. I suppose you weren't dressed to use the front entrance." Lucius said walking to them.

"Have you finished the decryption?" Batman asked as Lucius nodded.

"Fully decoded. I've fully downloaded all recent militia radio transmissions and their corresponding coordinate to your machine."

They nodded at that. "Thanks, Lucius. I can scan the network for the Knight's voice print and determine the location of her last broadcast."

Batman walked to his desk and it scanned his eyes. "Identity confirmed." A voice box with the Knight talking came up as Batman brought his gauntlet up.

"I've got several upgrades for your vehicles. Just pick one to use." They both chose a virus scan to have tanks fight for them than against them.

"I've got it," Batman said as the download was complete.

"I'll be here if you need me. Not like I can go anywhere anyways. The upgrades will be ready shortly. I'll put them on the Bat Jet and Bio-Ship when they are." Lucius said as they walked back out.

"Alfred, we've tracked the Knight to the Miagani tunnel system."

"Excellent news sir, but I'm detecting a significant drone presence in the area. It would be folly to engage without the Batmobile or the Tumbler." The duo nodded as they jumped off and fell.

Naruto ran down the walls before jumping onto the rails for the train and following Batman. "Got it."

They went to a rooftop by the entrance and saw a very large tree in front of it as 14 drones guarded the area. They fell to the ground before their cars came to them and they went inside. Going into tank mode, Naruto and Batman shot seven missiles each and hit each tank before going out of tank mode and driving to the entrance.

"M'gann, try opening the South Entrance." The entrance opened having them drive several feet below ground and to another door. "The other door is closed, M'gann, can you get it open?"

A screen came up over the steering wheel before Miss Martian spoke. "No, I can't get through." Naruto sighed before replying.

"OK, we'll find another way," Naruto said before large fan blades dropped down in front of him. Looking back, Naruto saw a tether connected to the Batmobile break off a large exhaust fan leading to a walkway above. Getting out of the cars, they went up to the walkway and saw it was set up like an office. "Must be from when they were building the tunnels," Naruto said before a holo screen came up. "Barbara, did you guys find a cure yet?"

Naruto looked to see Batgirl, Robin, and a few members of the Team inside a large room. "No, no progress yet." Batman nodded before speaking.

"Keep working on it."

They made their way through several halls and vents before coming to the tunnel on a balcony. "There's a vent," Naruto said pointing to a vent by the door where their cars are.

Naruto ran along a pipe as Batman grappled to the end. They both went into the vent and followed it to a room on the side before Batman jumped out. He suddenly turned around and looked up.

Bang! Bang!

The Knight dropped down holding a pistol and shot it at Batman. He dodged out of the way as the Knight dropped a ball down the vent and a blinding light came from it.

"SON OF A BITCH!"

Naruto yelled out as the light blinded him before the Knight shot Batman in the ribs.

"Don't worry about Troia, she's in good hands." She said as Naruto slowly crawled out as Batman injected himself with healing serum. Naruto groaned as he grabbed Batman and his wound healed the bullet came out before a 7-foot-tall armored man came in and tried to kick Naruto.

Only for Naruto to grab the boot and hit the man in the groin with a chakra-infused punch. The man fell to his knees before seeing a Rasengan (Spiraling Sphere) hit him in the stomach sending him to the wall and into the ground behind it. A group of men ran in and Naruto helped Batman to his feet before they ran to the group.

Naruto ran and punched one man as he kicked another at the same time. He and Batman threw several batarangs and kunai that exploded on impact knocking the rest out just as a tank crashed through the door. "There!" Naruto pointed to a breaker box.

Batman ran to it and pulled the cover off and crossed several wires. The door opened and they remote-controlled their cars to take out the tanks before jumping in and driving to another door. Opening it, they saw an armored van and several cars peel off before chasing after. Naruto shot the cars as Batman attacked the van. They drove for several miles before Naruto shot a missile hitting a tire.

The van flipped and the duo jumped out of the cars and saw a male driver crawl out with a voice modulator to sound like the Knight. "Where is she?!" Naruto yelled stepping on the man before his wrist beeped.

Pulling it up, the Knight came up on the holo-screen. "You think I didn't know you were tracking me from the start?! "So predictable!"

Naruto scowled before bringing his car to them. He revved the engine having the tire push against the man's head. "Wait! I'll tell you!" Naruto pulled back as the man spoke.

"She said something about meeting with the little man! The Penguin! He supplied us! The Knight's gone to pay him for his services!"

Naruto pulled the car back getting the man to yell. "Remember something else?!" He asked making the man nod. "North Refrigeration! That's where he uses as a front." Naruto nodded before knocking the man out. "Thank you." He pulled up his holo screen as Batman did the same. "M'gann. Find out anything you can about North Refrigeration." She nodded before being pushed out of the way by Frost. "Are you nude?" He asked seeing a topless Frost.

"I was taking a shower! And anyway, I heard you're going after the Penguin, right? I want in!" Naruto shrugged at that.

"Sure. Too bad you can't go like that." She smirked and held her breasts up.

"Sooner we finish. The sooner you can enjoy them~" Naruto smirked as Miss Martian pushed her out of the way, and was also topless.

"Same goes for me!"

Naruto looked to Batman who spoke up. "Upgrade's ready."

Getting in the cars, they drove several miles down the road to a large block before both the Bat Jet and Bio-Ship flew to them and put a device on their cars.

"Let's go!" Naruto yelled as he hit the gas and drove down the road beside the bay.

Once they got a mile from the factory, they came out of their cars ejected up into the air, and dropped on a building beside the factory. Suddenly, Nightwing and Killer Frost jumped up to them. "Still lurking around on rooftops?" Nightwing asked walking to the duo.

"You shouldn't have come here. Not tonight." Nightwing shook his head at that. "Are you kidding me? When I heard what was happening with Donna-!" He was interrupted by Batman.

"We can handle this. North Refrigeration, tell me what you know."

"(Sigh) Penguin's using the freezer trucks to smuggle weapons out of Blüdhaven. I think he's stockpiling them here in Gotham, the question is where?" Nightwing explained looking down at a van surrounded by Penguin's men. "Cobblepot's the best lead we have on Troia. I need to find that weapon's cache."

Naruto replied looking down and standing beside Frost. "You're going to need this." Naruto looked to see Nightwing hand Batman a folded rifle. "Prototype from R&D, the old Fox outdid himself this time. There's tracker ammo in the right magazine," Nightwing said before jumping down to the road.

Batman aimed down and hit two guns and a crate. "There, equipment sabotaged. Time to drop in."

Naruto and Batman dropped down as Frost created an ice slide and slid down. Naruto kicked one man in the knee as the two armed men tried to shoot them. Only for the rifles to not fire. They dropped them down as a third ran to the crate. "AAHH!" He screamed as he was shocked.

Frost froze a tall muscular man from the neck down before Naruto kicked him over to the building. Batman took care of the last two by slamming their heads together. Batman shot a tracker on the van before knocking on it. "What did you forget-Shit! Get out of here!" The man yelled as they drove off.

"We'll follow them before we bring you to the cache," Naruto said creating a clone to stand with Frost.

Gotham; Penguin's Hideout October 31, 19:47 EDT.

Naruto looked at the guarded rooftop of a building before creating six clones and took out each man quietly. Frost appeared beside him before they made their way over to the roof and went down a trap door to a metal floored room with a glass wall in the middle. Looking down, they saw the Penguin without his coat, and a shaved head for the warmer weather.

Batman went down a vent as Penguin went to a large pile of money talking to his men about working with the Scarecrow and the Knight. Suddenly, Batman came out of a floor vent and choked and slammed Penguin on the pile, scattering the money. "The Knight! Troia! Where are they?!"

"So that's who she had? Kage's little girl?"

A man tried to kick Batman only for Batman to punch him in the groin. "I'll break every bone in your body, Cobblepot," Batman said pulling Penguin up by the throat.

"They're going to see some geezer called Simon Stagg. I think he runs a pharmaceutical company."

Another man tried to attack, only for Batman to break his wrist and punch him away. Batman stood and held Penguin up by the shirt. "Do not lie to me!"

Two men aimed their guns at them. "I'm not! I swear! They said she was going to leave Gotham. Those airships over the West River, they belong to him!"

"Put him down, Batman!" The men yelled before Batman threw Penguin at them.

Two men grabbed Batman and forced him to his knees before the Penguin escapes. "You're too late! Scarecrow's going to break you! You're going down Batman!"

Suddenly, the glass broke as Naruto and Frost dropped down as Nightwing came through a vent. "This is you handling it?" He asked before they ran around knocking the men out.

Frost froze one man's head before kicking him away, breaking the ice. Naruto threw one man to Nightwing who hit him with his eskrima sticks before Batman kicked the last man. "There's the cache," Naruto said looking at a large vault with crates of weapons in them.

Batman went to it and empty his explosive gel over several as Naruto threw several explosive tags on the rest. They closed the door and locked it before going to the middle of the room.

BOOM!

The weapons exploded before Nightwing spoke. "I think Penguin's got several more around Gotham. I'll look for them and radio when I find them, or the vans." The duo nodded before Frost spoke.

"I'll go back to the Clocktower until you do." She kissed Naruto on the cheek before walking out.

"Take the car!" She waved over her shoulder as she went out the door before Batman and Naruto jumped up to where they came in. "M'gann, find everything you can on Simon Stagg," Naruto said over his earpiece.

"Got it!"

They went up and saw sentry guns pointed at them with militia behind a barrier. They jumped up to the rafters as they open fire for a minute. "Did we get 'em?!" One man asked as they went back behind the barrier.

"I don't know! go look!"

Batman brought his car up to the parking garage next door and shot them with bean bags before destroying the sentry guns. They dropped down as Batman brought his screen up. "Miss Martian, what do we have on Simon Stagg?"

She looked down at her screen before replying. "CEO of STAGG Enterprises... A company that specializes in advanced medical research and development."

Naruto looked at the airship now tethered to an unfinished tower beside the Wayne International building. "We're headed to Stagg's airship. Scarecrow's headed there and that's our lead to Troia." Batman replied as Miss Martian typed.

"The threat level on Founders' Island is covered by the militia's long-range missiles, neither the Batjet nor the Bio-Ship can fly over it, same for the cars."

"Then we'll stay on the rooftops," Naruto replied before they took off.

Gotham; Founders' Island October 31, 20:06 EDT.

Naruto dropped down in a building beside the one that Stagg's airships are tethered to before seeing one man look at a walkie-talkie-looking device. "A scanner. We can't use Detective Mode. Good thing that disruptor can stop that." Naruto said before Batman shot the device and a drone handler remote.

Naruto dropped behind said operator and wrapped his arm around him in an inverted facelock. Naruto squeezed knocking him out before grabbing the remote control and moved the drone to attack the others. Naruto flew the drone away from the building before turning it off and threw the control with it.

Dropping down, they saw an antenna with a computer screen Batman tore it open and put explosive gel inside before blowing it up. He brought his screen up and called Alfred. "We're at the airship. Did you find anything?" He asked as Alfred looked off to the side.

"The ship's schematics show a service hatch that should be accessible at the top of the airship. And it seems that Mister Stagg is rather protected in his research. Be ready for high security."

Batman nodded before calling Lucius. "Lucius, how's the Remote Hacking Device coming along? I think I'll be needing it."

"Maybe you should add clairvoyance to that job description, Mister Wayne. I'm uploading the latest encryption software to the device in the vault on top of Wayne International Plaza. You can collect it from there."

They went to the top of the building and Batman went to a storage building. An eye scanner came out and scanned his eyes before opening the wall and showed a door. He put his hands on the pad and it opened showing multiple gadgets. He picked up the new and smaller Hacking Device and looked at it.

They went to the top of the ship and saw a hatch with a red light on it. Looking through some glass around the hatch, Batman saw a security keypad before taking out the Hacker. After a moment, the light changed to green having them drop down. They went down several vents before dropping behind three men with a drone.

Batman brought out the Hacker and hacked the remote before having the drone shock all three before the door opened. "I see you found your way in, sir. Any sign of Mister Stagg?"

Naruto heard Alfred over his earpiece before Batman spoke. "Not yet. But the Knight and Scarecrow's forces have moved through this place killing everyone."

Naruto looked at the dead bodies in the room before Batman stopped at a computer and put a device on it. He brought out the Hacker and the ship tilted as a large crate in the hall moved showing a vent to go through. They went into the hall and down the vent to another storage room.

Dropping down, Batman moved a crate out of the way to a metal mesh-covered hall. Running down it, they saw a vent 20 feet high above them before going up. And immediately dodged a swipe from a tall armored man with a blade on his gauntlets.

Naruto dodged several times before breaking the blades and Batman kneed him in the back of the head and Naruto jumped up to the ceiling and down onto the man's head, knocking him out. Batman hacked a door open showing a group of militia holding a balding man hostage.

He is slightly overweight and is wearing a blue suit and rings on multiple fingers.

Naruto show several smoke bombs/flash bangs down and blinded the men before dropping and creating a large group of clones to knock each one out. "Batman! Kage! Thank you!" Simon yelled before the duo look at him.

"Where's Scarecrow?" Batman asked after Simon explained they were stealing clean energy generators.

"On the next airship!"

They looked to the next airship before being hit with Tasers. After waking up they saw Simon was tied up on a lift going to the next airship They tried to follow, only to stop as guns on the other ship shot at them. "Shit! We need to hack into the security codes."

Naruto said turning around. "M'gann. Stagg's been taken to the other airship."

Miss Martian came up on his screen before speaking. "There's a security terminal in the Research Laboratory. You should be able to disable the guns there."

Naruto nodded before dropping into a vent leading down to the cargo bay underneath. After getting through the maze of crates, they came up in the other hallway and to another door. Batman hacked it and they went up to another out-of-reach vent. Going through a hall, they went through another vent and into the Research Lab where several men walked around including a medic in a white chemical suit with a red plus on it.

Naruto created several clones before each went over each man before dropping down and knocking each man out at the same time. "I'm going to look for Stagg's fingerprints, He was pushed to the door," Batman said as Naruto shrugged and waited several minutes for Batman to return.

Once he did return, his glove glowed blue creating a handprint over it before putting it on a handprint scanner beside the computer. Unlocking it, Batman disable the guns before going to the door from where they came in. Using the print, Batman unlocked the door before going to the large room where Simon was in.

"Sir, I haven't found anything on the Knight's identity," Alfred said over their earpieces before Batman spoke.

"Keep looking."

Down below, they saw one medic create a static field around one man before Naruto dropped on him, He shot two arrows knocking the medics in the room out. Batman and Naruto quickly took out five men each before both attacked the last one together. "Apologize for the interruption, Mister Wayne, Mister Uzumaki. They both picked an E.M.P. upgrade before hacking the door and the guns before seeing men in the room on the other ship. Batman glided over as Naruto shot an arrow through it and flashed by it. Batman kicked the window and kicked a man into another to the other side of the room. Naruto jumped over one man, flipped around before landing and kicked him away and caught a sword, and broke another man's leg.

Naruto saw Batman put a device on a computer before tilting the ship to break the window leading to the exit. Going down the hall, they passed several cells with a playback of Simon testing the new Scare Toxin on one or two men who are dead in each cell and something called Cloudburst.

They went down to the end of the hall before Batman's screen. "Alfred, Miss Martian, Stagg, and Scarecrow were working together on a project codenamed: Cloudburst," Batman said as Alfred nodded with Miss Martian on Naruto's screen.

"Then why is Scarecrow attacking Stagg?"

"Probably backed out of the deal, or double-crossed him. He's taking the device now." Naruto said before ending the call and going into another Laboratory room.

Naruto sighed before creating clones that took out all but one muscular man with a minigun. Naruto jumped to the man and hit him with a Rasengan (Spiraling Sphere) and went to Simon who was in a cage. "OK, tell us everything."

Before he could talk, Simon was hit with fear toxin having Batman use his grapple gun and pull him forward to knock him out.

They walked through a door where they saw Scarecrow working on a computer in front of a large device in front of the ship. Batman walked up and gasped before Naruto kneed Scarecrow to the device. Batman injected himself with a serum before they heard the Knight over their earpieces.

"Now!"

Scarecrow hit a button on the remote and the Cloudburst device was pulled apart with explosions going off. Once clear of the ship, Naruto saw the Knight in a helicopter before firing multiple rockets at the Duo giving them an escape. "Damn it!" Naruto cursed looking as the helicopter flew off.

Naruto sighed as he picked up his son and went to the living room area of the Cave with his wives talking to his future self.
