Even if they were mentally drained, casting arcane spells wasn't meant to be difficult for students of the elite class, and  for people in the top half of the elite class it was a walk in the pack.

After close to 1 hour and 30 minutes of waiting for his turn, Blake was finally called up to cast all arcane spells they had treated.
