The beginning

Arthur White worked all his life to be able to fulfill his dream of going to the moon at some point.

The problem is that trips to the moon in these years are so expensive that he had to go through many difficulties to be able to have the opportunity, at some point in his life, to travel to the moon.

Despite all the difficulties he went through, he finally managed to fulfill his greatest dream.

His trip to the moon took place after he sold almost all the companies that he had founded with the sweat and tears of many years, although this triggered many fights with some of his loved ones, he did not care as long as he could fulfill his dream, he would do anything.

And now, being the only one who traveled to the moon on this crew, he can proudly say...

"Hahahahaha, I can finally see the earth from the moon!" Arthur said at that moment out loud as he rejoiced, leaned back, and looked at the beautiful earth in front of him with a big smile on his face.

He was filled with happiness and was almost jumping for joy.

He had spent so long and painstakingly working for this day that his emotions, were plagued with many different and mixed feelings. His happiness was strange, and he felt like crying.

However, at that moment, unbeknownst to him, behind his back, the ship that had brought him here was about to take off as he enjoyed the beautiful view in front of him. Without realizing it, he was about to be stranded in this place.

* BRUUUUUUUUUUM *

"¿Eh?" The roar of the ship taking off caught Arthur by surprise, causing him to stand up quickly.

"Wait, wait, I'm still here!!!"

Soon despair and anxiety filled him, leaving behind all the happy feelings he desperately headed in the direction of the ship, hoping that it would stop and let him board.

Although he knew that an AI controlled the ship and there was no one else besides him on it the desperation of the moment did not let him think as he desperately approached, shouted, and waved both hands as if he hoped that someone could see him from the ship.

But none of this worked. With a great roar, the ship simply took off, showering Arthur with large amounts of Moon Dust, which came scattering out of the ship's takeoff.

"NO!"

"NO!"

"NO!"

Not knowing what to say or do, Arthur stood frozen in place, repeatedly denying what had happened to him.

"I have to be dreaming, there's no way this is happening to me. Not after everything that-"

Suddenly, he could see the entire space cracking. Like glass the entire space within his vision began to crack rapidly, forming cracks, looking rather like a spider's nest.

Arthur was speechless, had all the stress of this situation driven him insane? No, it couldn't be, at least not so soon he didn't even finish cursing how was it possible for him to go crazy so fast?

A cataract of thoughts in search of an explanation flooded Arthur's mind in just a few seconds.

But before he could conclude, he could notice that the ship he was supposed to have boarded was currently heading that way at high speed.

Soon, the ship crashed into the rift, a dull sound, along with a dense flash made Arthur close his eyes it seemed that the ship had crashed into a large transparent wall, making it explode.

Upon collision, the ship broke into several pieces that went flying in different directions through space while, some of them, were on fire.

As if reacting to the crash, the crack spread even faster.

When these cracks completely covered the huge invisible wall, it simply gave way in infinite whitish-edged pieces, and fell without releasing any sound, plunging into the infinite void of space.

Even though there was no gravity, each of the cracks fell in the same direction as if something was pulling them.

However, Arthur had not noticed this.

As the great wall fell, a large tree was revealed to Arthur's eyes, even more amazing than the wall itself, leaving him speechless.

The tree in front of him was so gigantic that he could not tell where the beginning was or the end. The trunk of the tree rose majestically, occupying almost the entire right side within Arthur's vision.

Above it, endless amounts of branches and branches scattered everywhere, completely covering the view of the space above Arthur.

The leaves were so gigantic that they could completely cover any planet and, on the branches, as if they were simple fruits of any tree, planets fell 10 by 10 as if they were ordered from largest to smallest, giving a spectacular view for anyone who could appreciate it, it was something beautiful, and at the same time intimidating, because of its large size.

"Yggdrasil?" he whispered. Although it was a bit different, the sight reminded him of the great tree of life, which used to appear in Norse myths.

Standing in the middle of nowhere, on a deserted planet, he stood staring in shock at the events that just happened in front of his eyes.

*THUCK*

Suddenly, a small portion of the ship, the size of a fist, impacted with Arthur's hull, shattering it and sending him flying several meters backward while his body bounced off the ground upwards after the impact.

Quickly, the air inside the suit began to escape, returning him to despair.

Arthur tried to stop the air with his hands, though without much success.

Gradually, he lost all the air he had left, and at the same time, the desperate movements of trying to stop the air from escaping came to nothing.

Slowly, countless despairs and memories of the past passed through his eyes, making him feel sad, angry, confused, and very helpless.

It was as if his body had realized that he was already in a hopeless situation. There was no turning back, only one last thought went through his head.

'Sophia'

Small tears escaping from Arthur's eyes floated upward, no longer able to make any movement, in his last moments, he rolled his eyes and gazed one last time at the great tree, noticing that on one of those branches, below other planets, was the land from whence he came.

-

Arthur slowly came to himself.

'What's the matter, how come I didn't die? I remember clearly, something hit me cracking my hull and knocking me out of air in space. Wait...'

Arthur suddenly opened his eyes and quickly sat up as he looked around in confusion. He found himself on overgrown grass with a wet feeling. It felt as if it had rained recently.

It was night, but he could still notice large trees standing majestically around him, one after the other.

'A forest? How is that possible? Just a moment ago, I was on the moon...' He thought in shock.

"Finally, you wake up."

The soft and pleasant voice of a girl echoed behind his back startling him.

Arthur quickly turned around to look for the owner of this beautiful voice.

A woman covered by beautiful dresses stood in front of his eyes.

Although he could not see her face, Arthur could tell that she was one of great beauty.

The woman wore beautiful dark hair, combed to one side and adorned with various golden ornaments. Over her face a small white veil covered her eyes, revealing only her beautiful full lips, painted a deep red like blood.

As clothing she was wearing, a white dress with cleavage partially revealing two large and beautiful breasts that would make any man lose. The dress revealed her navel, along with her beautiful and delicate abdomen. Underneath was a long skirt, which split in half revealing one of her long, beautiful, snow-white legs.

"W-w-who-who are you?" Arthur asked stuttering.

"Listen to me, we have little time," said the woman ignoring Arthur's question and began to approach slowly. Her hips moved in a mesmerizing motion.

"The you of now is but a mere representation of your soul, right now, your real body is in space"

"Huh?" Arthur exclaimed in confusion.

"Com-"

"Silence." The woman quickly interrupted his words.

"At this moment, the place where you come from is in great danger, and you have little time to decide if you really want to see your loved ones again, listen carefully to what I will tell you."

The woman's words filled Arthur with uneasiness, he did not understand what was happening, however, it was true that he had recently died in space and wanted to see his loved ones again, although he did not know how this woman would help him to see them again, listening to her would not do him any harm.

After a moment's thought Arthur's eyes filled with determination, and he nodded, giving the okay for the woman to continue freely.

The woman began to speak, "What you have just seen in the space you came from is known as the Yggdrasil and is responsible for all life in all the realms.

Formerly, the kingdoms were connected by a great branch, and traveling between them was as easy as climbing them, however, some kingdoms contained beings too powerful, and these traveled to other kingdoms and used their power to abuse the weak.

Because of this, the gods agreed, with the power of all of them, a great veil was formed, dividing into dimensions each of the kingdoms into, thus hiding the Yggdrasil and each kingdom from the others and thus maintaining peace in each of them for millennia.

However, who in your realm is known as Odin, rose among the gods and took the throne as a king. He then decided to destroy the veil that divided the different kingdoms, thus causing the World Tree, the Great Creator of all, YGGDRASIL, to reappear.

We do not know why he did it or what his intention is, but it could be that the prophecy is about to be fulfilled.

The problem is that no one in your world knows about this prophecy, and if they do, they treat it as a myth. I cannot tell you about this prophecy and that is why I have decided to give you a gift."

She said, talking non-stop for a long while and then stopping to take a breath, to continue talking without allowing Arthur to say a word.

"The gift is simple. I will reincarnate you with my blessing, and when the time is right, I will come back into contact with you, all this in order that your kingdom can survive what is coming and what has come to it.

Right now, your kingdom is under attack by different powerful beasts from other kingdoms, and also demons, who might have been sent by a god.

Due to the short time we have, I can't tell you much, and you will have to find out once you return.

But I will show you what your kingdom will look like if some powerful ones capable of saving it don't show up." She said and then made a small gesture with her hand to the right, bringing up a strange little spherical-shaped screen, which appeared to be invisible, but contained many images of ruined places dominated by different beasts.

Billions of dead people were in sight, and entire cities were reduced to ashes and rubble, all this while an immense amount of monsters of all kinds were eating the bodies of the dead people.

Everything in sight was destruction, and this caused a deep shock in Arthur, 'Could the land look like this?' He thought as he stared dazedly at those images.

"The realm you are looking at is called Nidavellir, the place where the dwarves live, a race of blacksmiths who have little offensive level, so they fell quickly."

"That said, if you don't want your world to end up just like Nidavellir, you must fight these creatures!"

"You will not be the only one with power, several of your race will have it however, I will give you my blessing it will grant you great affinity with fire, which will give you great advantage when it comes to fighting!"

As soon as she finished speaking, Arthur's body began to become transparent, and small white particles began to glow around him.

"What's wrong?" This change startled Arthur, after all, he had just died and was telling him that he could be revived again, yet now he was disappearing before he reincarnated.

"There's no time left!" Said the woman in a hurry.

"Your soul is being lost, I'll send you to your realm right now!"

Suddenly, the woman's index fingers began to glow with a greenish color, and she drew a strange symbol on Arthur's forehead, then she began to make weird symbols that were left floating in the air.

"This will carry your soul back to your body, on earth. Remember this, the human soul can only withstand one reincarnation, so this is your last chance, don't waste it" the woman warned and then shouted.

"Bifrost!"

As soon as the woman screamed, a dark swirl, with several white dots that had the appearance of stars the stars that were commonly seen at night descended from the sky, engulfing Arthur completely.
