Cindy and Alexander reluctantly let go of each other's hands as they began to prepare for the evening's festivities. The anticipation of the ball was palpable, and Cindy could feel her excitement building as she moved toward the wardrobe to pick out her outfit. But as she sifted through her clothes, her excitement quickly faded. She realized with a sinking feeling that she hadn't packed anything formal enough for the event.
