The Wrong Move

Dave POV

As time passed, I started to panic, it had been days and they didn't even call me. I laid down on my sofa, thinking.

"Henry!?" I called through the link but I didn't get any response from him, so I tried twice more.

"Where are you?" Henry asked and I got up immediately but soon after the link was cut.

"What did I tell you, baby?"

"I know it's for my own good, but you don't know what it's like to be locked away for so long.""It seems like you forgot what I told you. Did you remember me saying that I was arrested and your fathers came to save me?"

"Yeah. Are you making me pass the same thing as you? Because it's what it looks like."

"I know it's stressful but you need to hold on for some more time, please." My father said with a gentle voice, something that you don't hear every day.

I kept thinking about what they said after they cut the link and I felt that there was more than what they were saying and I was going to find out.

As I wandered through the basement, once again, I saw a door locked with nails and I opened it, I fell down. It was a photo of me with some candles lighting that small space made of wood and I soon noticed a huge book that pulled me to read. My parents were really hiding something.

I took the book into the living room, got into a comfortable position and opened it. From the first page it intrigued me.

"Original Wolf's Containment Diary."

I immediately closed the link and moved to another page, there was a photo of a small wolf and one of him next to it. Then he read it.

"He was born healthy and doesn't appear to have memories of the original. We don't know how, but the alpha's soul stuck to Dave. If Bernard finds out, we don't know what will happen."

"You shouldn't read that." A male voice said "I'm more than comfortable not remembering him."

"Who spoke?" I asked scared, looking around.

"I am your wolf. The Original is getting stronger by day. I am afraid that one day I will be unable to contain him."

"Are you telling me that the strongest qolf that I heard off is inside me?" I asked, feeling a little proud "Cool!"

"No, it isn't." My wolf said "If he takes control you die."

I got up and sit down with the book on top of my legs and I didn't know if I would follow my wolf instructions or my instints. Possessed I placed the book on the coffee table and stood up, thoughtful. I ate a sandwich and realized I was running out of food when I opened the fridge."

I looked at the book once again, resisting the urge to read it and after lying down, curiosity caught up with me.

"Please, Dave... I beg you." My wolf said but I ignored it, sitting back down on the sofa "You don't know the danger you are getting yourself in."

"Maybe I can control him." I though, smiling "I have high hopes."

Once again I opened the book, still ignoring the voice in my head, begging me to stop and I saw another photo of me. This time without the wolf.

"He is unable to communicate through link, I am afraid that his wolf is too weak to talk abd mantain the original calm."

I was astonished, I though I had some cool power that made me unable to read or receive any link connection, but after all it was only because of the big wolf.

"I know you just met me. I am sorry for not communicate sooner, I just want you to stop." The wolf said was again "My name is Tom, I am one of the original's seals, please listen."

"If you are one seal, where are the others?"

"There is three on total, one was in Adam, but now is in Julian and the other in... In your brother, Dave."

I stopped reading, now unsure that if it was a good idea to wake up the beast, but then I felt a heart pounding and a scream from the top of the house, it sounded like Liam.

"Be quiet." Tom ordered "It isn't Liam."

"How do you know?"

"He is far away with Henry."

Suddenly, I felt very jealous of my brother and I heard a new voice, which canceled out Tom's.

"Hello there. It looks like you found the diary."

"Who are you?"

"Everyone likes to call me original but... You can call me Stuart if you want... After all, you were the one to save my soul."

"As if I would trust you."

"Who do uou think that made your heart squeeze?"

Dave got scared and through the book against the wall, making some weird smoke come from inside it.

"You are such a sweetheart." The wolf said and appeared half transparent in front of me " I have a feeling we're going to get along really well."

"How can I know you're not bad?"

"It depends on what you do... If they let me go, I won't live anymore. I'll even protect you."

"Leave him alone." Tom said and my body started to feel hot. "Don't you dare."

A figure of a man was starting to appear, where Stuart was and as I faint I saw a huge smile on his face.

"Sometimes is better to not know " a female voice said inside my head, i couldn't see nothing, it was pintch black "You didn't die, but I will give you a chance to choose, just like your mother."

"How so?"

"Or you kill it, or you mate with him."

"And Henry? You know I am not strong enough for him."

"Henry knows! Just didn't tell you. Tom is the mate of the original, so that makes you too."

"I refuse to believe that." I screamed and woke up on top of someone, it was the last person I thought.

"Hello, sweetheart."
