Chapter 13 UNO\'S FRIENDS
My eyes fluttered open when I heard Uno’s voice talking to someone on his phone. He called the guy ‘Liam’ and they seemed really close because he didn’t stutter and stuff and he kept talking about meeting him in their usual place.
When the call ended, his phone rang again and he called the caller Kate? Oh God, I looked like a stalker trying to eavesdrop of what they were talking about. They talked casually but even if I tried, I couldn’t stop the light trickle of jealousy.
I stepped my feet on the floor and looked around. I see, I’m still in the medical room. For how many hours did I sleep? Did Uno watch over me since he brought me here?
I saw from the corner of my eye that he took a glance at me and immediately hung up the phone when he found out that I’m already awake.
“H-how are you f-feeling now?” he asked as he sat beside me.
“Better.” I smiled sweetly. “Thank you Uno.”
