"So as I was saying, this colour is not blue, you know?" Frank's brother said. "It's actually green."

"No, it's blue," Frank said.

"No, you dimwit, it only looks blue. But if you look closer, it's actually green. Green sometimes looks like blue and blue sometimes looks green. If you look at this under Light A, it looks like green, but if you look at it under Light B, it looks blue. But if you look at it under Light C, it's blue-green. Do you know what it looks like under Light D?"

"No, tell me," Frank said, on the edge of his seat.

Serene yawned again.

"It's green-blue. Amazing, isn't it? This is the spectrum of light working, and everything, every colour is like this. So if you dye this cloth in this colour, it will appear blue on some days and green on other days, but if you do not dye this cloth in this colour, then it will be colourless."

"No way!" Frank said. "I can't believe it."

"And over time, the colour will fade. It will become orange, and then as you look at it, you start to see red and yellow in it. When you're happy, it's orange, when you're not so happy, it's yellow, and when you're angry, it's red."

"What about when I'm bored?" Serene asked.

"Oh, you won't believe it, I swear!" Frank's brother said.

"What? What?" Frank said.

"It'll be green or purple!"

Serene got up from her seat with a heavy sigh and left the fools. She threw the door to the mansion open and approached the big field. She crossed it slowly, until finally, she was at the shed.
