Chen Xi entered with pome and poise. He was dressed in an impeccable suit and expensive shoes. On his wrists lay a black Rolex and his whole body gave off a cold aura.

He was different, Lin Ye could tell.

She turned around in shock, "What are you doing here?"

Chen Xi took off his coat and lay it on Lin Ye's shoulders, "I should at least be here when you are feeling wronged right?"

Lin Ye stepped away from him, "This is nothing I cannot handle."

Chen Xi pulled her close to him by her waist, his hands lingering there for a brief moment, "I know you can but I cannot stand it wifey. Tell me, who bullied you?"

Lin Ye blushed. Her adorable face exquisite under the lights, Chen Xi became dazed.

Lin Ye pushed him off of her, "What wife?"

Han Shuoxi, who was standing at the other side looked at their interaction with hard eyes. Wen Shao Feng looked fascinated while Lin Xue looked at Chen Xi with a glint in her eyes.

Lin Xue went forward and tried to introduce herself. Her tear streaked face was also quite pretty. Her expression made it easy for people to feel sorry for her.

"Hello sir, may I know what you are to my sister?"

Chen Xi did not spare her a single glance. His gaze was glued on Lin Ye but he still answered anyway, "I am her husband."

Lin Xue was shocked while Han Shuoxi gritted his teeth in anger.

Lin Ye on the other hand looked at Chen Xi in anger, "What did I tell you yesterday? Why are you here today?"

Chen Xi answered innocently, "Wifey ...I missed you terribly."

Lin Ye could not utter another word more because mere words could not explain how Chen Xi made her angry.

Was it not just yesterday when they parted ways? She even offered some money for him to book a hotel with! Thinking about the money made Lin Ye even angrier.

Lin Xue composed herself and asked, "This is truly... Sister did you get married because brother Han and you broke up? Don't you think you rushed towards marriage?"

Her words could be easily misunderstood but she did not know how mad the woman she was dealing with was now. Lin Ye looked at her and sneered, "Oh really? Did you want me to come and ask for permission from you then?"

Lin Xue did not answer this time but Han Shuoxi came forward and held Lin Ye's shoulders, "Lin Ye, I get it that you are heartbroken after our break up but this is really not the option!"

What was wrong with these people? Why were they acting as if it was wrong for Lin Ye to get married but okay for them to do the exact same thing?

Lin Ye shifted," You can get married but I cannot?"

Han Shuoxi's hands somehow tightened on her shoulders, " No, that is not what I meant?"

Lin Ye countered, "My husband is quite a sensitive man so please get your hands off my shoulders and another thing, Han Shuoxi, who are you to tell me what to or not to do? Look at him..."

She pointed towards Chen Xi who had been silently staring at her all along.

"...then look at yourself. I think I upgraded, why are you not congratulating me instead?'

Chen Xi chuckled while Wen Shao Feng who was on the side laughed, "Beauty...that is so good. Remind me never to mess with you again okay?"

Han Shuoxi was so angry that his eyes became tiny slits. Lin Ye was embarrassing him so severely that he did not have anything to say anymore. Lin Xue on the other hand frowned and her nails dug deep into her palms.

She had planned this all along. To steal Lin Ye's boyfriend and make him hers and then come and gloat in front of Lin Ye but who knew that things would tur out like this?

Who knew that Lin Ye was already married and much less to a man who gave off an aura that screamed 'untouchable'

How did the two of them even meet?

Lin Xue gritted her teeth, unable to say anything anymore.

Lin Ye walked towards them in slow steps, "I really don't give a crap whether you get married or not. Did you not hear what my friend said earlier? You two are meant for each other so there really is no need for you to show up at my workplace like this. Next time you come here I will not be so kind...and you,"

She turned to Chen Xi, "... follow me outside right now!"
