What Happened?

While moving towards the place where the most mana was coming from. I and Hae-in were facing some Orcs occasionally and Hae-in would look at me intently every time I kill monsters.

"Is there something wrong?" I asked her after some time.

"No, your sword skills are amazing." She said with a smile.

After defeating 25 orcs 15 for me and 10 for her we reached the exit of the cave when we came out we saw an open field after 2 hours.

It was a barren land with red soil and there was a giant and an army of High orcs standing there.

There were about 300 high orcs whose estimated strength is Top tier A-Rank. And there is a High orc with a great sword in his hand. His height is about 4 meters. His strength is in the S-Rank intermediate tier but he isn't the one who I care about. Currently, I am looking at the giant with the height of 60 meters it is higher than a twenty-story building. He is muscular with dark tanned skin and a tribal tattoo with long braided black hair. Wearing bone ornaments around his neck holding a large war hammer. While wearing a ragged loincloth.

The giant looked towards us and took off the mask he was where and his mana unleased. It felt like sitting on a wooden raft in the middle of a hurricane.

'His magic power is abnormally high, he isn't a normal giant. He is a…..'

(You've made me wait long enough, puny human. I the Grandmarshal of the Giants army will end your miserable life. Your life will be used to free our monarch, so be honored that you could be of use.) he said in monster language.

'He has been waiting….here, so that means that the monarchs know of my existence but seeing how they sent the grand marshal of the giant's army they just see me as a strong human and not someone who can pose a threat to them. Do the rulers know about it as well, if they do will they aim to kill me as well for… I guess we'll know tomorrow. ' then a voice pulled me out of my thoughts.

"T-Th-This isn't something that should be here," Hae-in said as she had difficulty breathing because of the mana that the giant was releasing. But her hand was on her sword and her eyes never wavered.

'My, My what a strong woman.' I smiled as I patted her back gently and said.

"Get your breathing in control, And clear your mind. Or you'll make mistakes while fighting." She flinched at my touch first but slowly got her breathing into control.

"Thank you." She said a bit shyly while looking away.

'Um, can you not act so cutely in the middle of the battlefield.'

"How are we going to fight that many of them. And that giant isn't something we can defeat we should go back near the gate and wait for reinforcements." She said taking on a serious look.

"No, let's finish this quickly as I have dinner with a beautiful woman so I can't keep her waiting," I said giving her a wink. well, we'll have reinforcements shortly anyway.

She was dumbfounded as I walked towards the army.

'Didn't you say that you will treat me to dinner, Wait….' This is what Hae-in thought when looking at his back while blushing as her heart raced. She was confused as this was a new feeling for her. She has never felt like this before meeting him.

She shook her head as this wasn't the right place to think about this and followed him.

Outside the gate, 1 hour before.

Woo Jin-Chul was standing outside the gate thinking deeply.

'it's been 2 hours since they have gone in. the gate should be cleared by now did something happen inside.'

He didn't understand why it was taking them so much time for 2 S Rank hunters to clear a B Rank gate. He thought that something must've happened so he requested some backup from Hunter's guild and Yoon-Ho guild as they were preparing for a raid nearby as this is the matter related to 2 S-Ranks he didn't hesitate to ask for back up. He has also changed into his hunting gear and was waiting for the raid team led by Choi Jong-In and Baek Yoon-Ho was coming alone.

After another 10 minutes, they both arrived. Jin-Chul looked at them who were already geared up and ready to go.

Choi Jong-in wore a suit of goldish-brown and white color with a flowing red cape and a set of eight rings. He was followed by two members from the raiding party.

The first hunter is Son ki-hoon who is A-Rank. As a tanker, he wore a suit of gray armor with brass highlights, a blue midsection, and a long purple cape with white designs.

The second hunter is Gi-Na who is also an A-Ranker, she is a curvaceous young woman with red eyes, strawberry blonde hair, and a large bust. She wore a black corset with a miniskirt, thigh-high boots, a red hooded cloak with white fur trims, and long white leather gloves.

Baek Yoon-Ho came as he wore black armor with yellow shoulder guards, gray pants, and a set of golden claws.

Woo Jin-Chul looked towards them and said.

"Thank you for coming at such short notice."

"It's alright it's because I know how capable hae-in is if she is late then something must have happened and there is the new S-Rank too we can't let lose them. So here I am." Choi Jong-In said smiling.

'And I can have that new S-Rank owe me a favor as well.'

"It's ok let's go we shouldn't waste more time here." Said Baek Yoon-Ho as his voice was serious he has witnessed the power of the new S rank himself which is why he came so quickly thinking if it could threaten him it would be disastrous if it was unleased in Korea.

"Ok, let's go then." Woo Jin-Chul said as he entered the gate. And everyone followed him once inside Yoon-Ho went in the front with Jin-Chul with Jong-in behind them.

And Ki-Hoon was guarding the rear as Gina was ahead of him.

After 40 minutes they were still walking and didn't find any Magical beasts. They did find multiple dead bodies of beasts there were two types one with many cuts and one with a single they usually had their heads cut off.

But then they suddenly felt the waves of mana that made it hard for them to breathe and the 2 A-Rank were trembling. Choi Jong-in was shocked.

'Fucking hell you're telling me this is a B-Rank gate, the magic I am feeling is already over top-tier A-rank gates. ' he thought as he shouted. As he shouted.

"We need to hurry up it is near us those two must be fighting we should hurry."

Everyone nodded as they stabilized their sense and went towards the source as after 5 minutes they exited the cave and came to an open field as they saw almost 300 high orcs army and a giant over 60 meters tall.

They gulped as they saw him. And saw both Cha hae-in and Tsugikuni haru walking towards the army.

"We should join them and finish this quickly and if we can't we'll retreat." Baek Yoon Ho said. As he ran forward.

Everyone went after him and caught up with them as they saw haru looking towards them as he discovered them and Cha Hae-in also noticed.

"I'll go ahead you can fight with them," Haru said while Looking at hae-in who wanted to go with him but in the end nodded.

"well, I'll be going ahead." After saying that he vanished before getting a response.

"Has he gone crazy?" Jong-In said but was only met by silence as both Yoon-ho and jin-Chul didn't say anything.

ARRRRRRRRRRGGHHHHHHHH*

The cry of agony brought them back as they saw haru cutting every orc in his way while leaving a trail of fire and continuing using his sword moves like a fire god dancing on the battlefield.

"Ok, let's start the fighting as well. We have to clear as many as we can." Said Jong-in as he prepared magic and launched towards the orcs killing many of them and Yoon-ho's hair turned white as he went forward killing orcs left and right.

Hae-in was mesmerized by the sword dance that haru did and followed after him killing orcs making their way towards the gaint.
